Resorts World about to expand

From 1010WINS:

The Resorts World Casino in Queens has broken ground on a $400-million expansion.

First opened in 2011 in the retrofitted grandstand of Aqueduct Race Track the all-electronic casino already attracts more than 10-million visitors a year. It’s enough success, Casino President Scott Molina said, for the Malaysian conglomerate that owns it to invest another $400-million into it.

The two year project will include a new 400 room, four star hotel, and four new restaurants.

10 million visitors a year?

That averages just over 27,000 a day!

Is that possible?

This gambling den has ruined many Queens lives who gambled their savings away. Sorry QB Pres Katz, Resorts Casino is NOT good for Queens families. Also take a look at the surrounding area. No improvements as promised by Resorts. It's turned into another depressed part of NYC.

Ah, will they claim the machine malfuntioned when people start winning ?

These are all public relations lies. Look at the A train platform at the Aqueduct stop going to the city, it's the most depressing sight ever. And severely lacks the young jovial millenial types they plastered on their ads and tourists.

just a tax on the poor
and where does the money go?
wasted by these fools that you people keep reelecting

MORE LIES from our elected officials of how Resorts World expansion will improve the area. The propaganda photo of the crew with shovels for the ground breaking looks like the usual political clowns who have no idea how to hold a shovel or what to do with it. They might want to trying shoveling all the BULLSHIT that comes out of their mouths.

So Katz, if this is SO GREAT, why not put one in Forest Hills or Long Island City.

IF all these things are go great, like this shit, hotels turned into homeless shelters, drug clinics, waste dumps, etc, why don’t any of the elected officials have such things in their immediate communities where they live. Hypocrites, just like the Republican elected officials who want to push through Trump’s crap healthcare and talk about how great it is, but want to keep their excellent government healthcare they get.

Democrats, Republicans, different sides of the same coin, shit and more shit.

This place has taken many gamblers from other casinos. There are a lot fewer people making the trip up to the Indian Casino in Connecticut. And my guess is that this helped to kill a couple casinos in Atlantic City.

Another homeless shelter?

If the major growth in a city or neighborhood is the casino, things are not going well.

alot of people are mugged at this casino the clientel is horrible -- another homeless shelter for sure -

Republicans and Democrats are like pro wrestlers. They put on a show, fight in front of us then retreat to the same dressing room.

A '4 star hotel'??? Are you for real? Watch the drug deals and muggings illuminated by blinking bodega lights from your room's balcony. Yeah, that's the Good Life!!

Yeah people can actually afford to go to Atlantic City now, however there is nothing fun to see or do. All the amusements, arcades and spinning wheels are gone alone with the Ape girl, Joke shops and $50 whores :(
Gambling is like crack, this is going to destroy the neighborhood even more, you know not one single penny of that tax revenue will be spent in Queens in a way that benefits the people who live here.
I think it time to cut losses and get out, destruction beyond repair is now imminent.

Every $500,000 spent on real estate in the U.S. warrants a Green Card for one person. I guess this Malaysian company is investing to bring the whole family to the U.S. complete with all the welfare benefits bestowed on those who are "poor immigrants". Nice. No wonder there will be no more social security increases for our Senior Citizens.

Between four worthless-and-depraved walking corpses like Czarina Melinda Katz, Ratface-fatface Joe Addabbo, pre-pubescent, genetic mutation Eric Ulrich (a/k/a 'Derelict Dullrich'), and the feckless, dynastic demon seed, Stacey (Pheffer) Amato (of the formerly failed public service lurker-predator, Audrey Pheffer, and her pitiful sidekick-schmuck lawyer, Larry Love), the whole system is so completely entrenched in obscenely failed public service, that it now DEVALUES honesty itself!

And, that is the vicious cycle of gambling's ugly pattern of regression and proven cannibalism, Queens peasants——compliments of your local, above mentioned, politically savage henchmen (of all unearned and undeserved power, privilege, unjust enrichment and PRIVATE SPLENDOR)——versus, PUBLIC SQUALOR, adversity, beggary, obscurity and quiet desperation for everyone else.

Finally, in a world of TRUE justice, all of these embarrassments to primates would be perfectly lined up in front of the Racino's electronic gaming machines 'den of inequity,' whereupon they would be instantly shot and killed, then their bloody entrails dragged through the streets of Rockaway Boulevard, followed by a public hanging on to the tallest lamp post in the center of town——followed by the precision of a firing squad execution of the breeding point of all subhuman corruption of them all——'Gargoyle Andy' Cuomo, and his dynastic, monarchy governed reign of neo-feudalism, neo-fascism, neo-Bolshevism and neo-liberalism from Albany's degraded and decaying corridors of flagrantly abused power for which everyone else continues to pay the ultimate price!

BANISH-and-BOYCOTT ALL GAMBLING MILLS FOR LIFE!

If I recall correctly these same proclamations were spewing prior to the development of the Atlantic City Casinos.

It was said at that time, the entire area would improve and thrive.

Someone needs to take these foolish politicians on a bus ride around the Atlantic City area and explain how all of the area was going to improve.

When you drive beyond the casinos, it looks like you just landed in Detroit or a scene from "The Walking Dead".

For your elected officials, this is not an issue.

First and foremost, it is only "Queens", so they do not care.

Was it not Madame Melinda, who said "Worlds WORST Borough"?

And for when a group of politicians destroy everything, they are the ones with the GRAND solutions!

Yet never own their evil misdeeds...

Look at all of the dregs that hang out there. They don't have 2 nickels to rub together yet they are gambling?

The infrastructure can't handle it. Add another lane to the belt pkwy? Wait till the SBS lines start on Woodhaven/ Crossbay! Add that to more casino busses and you can add about 20-25 minutes to your trip. You can't put 5 quarts in a gallon container.

Somewhow, the media never challenge any and all dishonest, dishonorable, lying, cheating and derelict politicians of Queens County, much less anywhere else, because the media have actually worked very hard to 'shield and protect' these scourges from all pretense of accountability, for which everyone else has always paid a crushing price. Hence, the lies, deniability and chronic graft that Racino reinforces is a crime against humanity that is so heinous, that even death by execution could never absolve, much less expiate, these failed, cradle-to-grave public leaders, all of whom have never led by example!

In the end, gambling is both regressive and cannibalistic. Regressive, because when a gambler loses (and they always do - especially with a foreign gambling mill like Genting, where the ONLY winners of this rigged, den of inequity crack house, are the bosses at Genting, and the crooked politicians like 'Gargoyle Andy' Cuomo, as well as the rest of the raw sewage that passes for democracy in Albany (and everything downwind of that nasty, malfunctioning house of horrors that has infected Queens with the disease of naked greed, graft and endless corruption), then a loser looks for money that belongs to others (i.e., car loan and mortgage payments), which leads to more borrowing, lying, cheating and stealing (exactly like Albany, City Hall and Brainswashington, D.C. has stolen from We, The People for decades).

Then, when all of the money and mortgage payments run out, the REAL phase of bone stripping cannibalism kicks in: borrowing money with interest. Now, there is an unspoken in the world of gambling that has always maintained: Whenever a gambler loses his/her shirt, then that's it, it's finally over! Not so with THIS Racino, where strategically placed ATM machines are only too happy to loan a losing gambler even more money, but this time with daily compounded interest (as high as 30%).

And, here we have buckets of pond scum like Eric Ulrich (an arrogant, failed eunoch with no heft), Joe Addabbo (a senior, 'public welfare-queen blob' who just keeps expanding over Queens until complete suffocation prevails), and the other 300 fake leaders of pure madness and contempt, like Melinda Katz, whose blurred vision for this already ravaged-and-tonsured borough (BECAUSE of entrenched political corruption), is to create and sanction more blight, hardship and human misery, which should be a capital offense that has already destroyed lives, livelihoods and generations of Queens family values for which can never be repaired by such political recklessness - and, now openly practiced government tyranny and anarchy.

I am glad that George Orwell is long ago dead and buried, Queens Crappers - because THIS deadly SHIT SHOW would have killed him all over again!

Alas, if that horrifying-and-creepy looking, 'Debt Red'-embracing logo sign outside of the main entrance on Rockaway Boulevard (that looks like a rendering of Edvard Munch's 'Scream'), doesn't frighten anyone from entering this foreign based crack den, then the grungy, Third World looking 'gamblers' should be the second and final warning of: DANGER--DO NOT ENTER!

But, just look at the dearth of a failing humanity that pisses away their petrified paychecks in the first place. Worse, Rockaway Boulevard looks more like 'The Fourth World' than merely a Third World, since the Gates of Hell opened for business in late October of 2011. Since that time, the landscape outside is even scarier than the other side of gamber's hell, made only worse by the fact that there is interest tacked on to those forever lost gambling debts. Case in point: There is an unwritten law that maintans: When a gambler finally loses his/her shirt (and they always do), then that's the end of the loss. Not so with THIS suction cup of a foreign based casino (where the 'House' ALWAYS wins), as strategically placed ATM machines are only too happy to lend their desperate customers even more cash, with usurious interest rates that are compounded daily up to 30%! And, when the cash with interest finally runs out, then it's time for 'bare boned' cannibalism to prevail: the pawn shops that are lined up on either side of Rockaway Boulevard to collect your earthly possessions will finish off the cycle to clean a gambler out to ruination.

Nice job, all filthy Queens politicians (not public servants). Maybe next you will reach out to 'Gargoyle Andy' in Albany's REAL insane asylum, and suggest that he install a fully operational 'Soylent Green' plan right next to Resorts World, so that once their Fourth World customers are completely broke, poor and useless, then everyone else can benefit from their bodies turned into tasteless crud-crackers, before their OWN turn awaits the conveyor belt of food production to end the natural life span of MAN!

Then, when nuclearl proliferation finally hits this ravaged planet, then all that will be left are: cockroaches, politicians--and, CHER!

Alas, if one can't afford to lose, then one can't afford to gamble. But that hasn't stopped ALL sleazy (and monstrously self-serving) Queens politicians (not public servants), from gambling away Queens County's future (like the vermin rat-faced Addabbo, useless, tax draining 'F**kwad Ulrich, the vacuously dynastic Stacy Pfeffer-Amato and drunken monarch Melinda Katz), by installing a foreign gambling mill that is a glaring substitution for job growth, training and development (ironically to everyone else with eyes except the 'blind-leading-the-blind' politicians!), and worse, a thieving, shabby and Third World gambling mill where the 'House' always wins (likewise the equally crooked, corrupt and dynastic 'House of Gargoyle Andy' up in Albany)——where predatory lending will ALWAYS be the common link between Albany and Genting——except THIS time they've gambled away house and home (OTHER people's houses and homes, that is), as Rockaway Boulevard now continually looks like a hideous, lifeless strip mall in some equally hideous and languishing Banana Republic!

And, the public be damned (again and STILL)!
