Factory turned into church (and luggage storage?) in Elmhurst

This old factory at 74-16 Grand Avenue most recently has been used as a church. The problem is that they never got permits or a place of assembly to legally turn it into one. There currently are 5 active DOB violations and thousands of dollars in ECB fines. The most interesting violation has to be this one:
Not sure why large quantities of luggage are being stored on the premises. And then there's the fact that the facade is crumbling.

Sanctuaries should be tax free, but it is time to tax catering, residences and parking

From the photo looks like the denomination is CRAP.

Telling by the looks of the crappy signage, along with a picture of the pastor and his wife (or the "lady pastor") and the name "Roca de Salvación" ("Rock of Salvation") it's probably a evangelical/Pentecostal "church"...the ones with the really loud rock bands playing and people dropping to the floor. We have a ton of these in Brooklyn, factories turned "churches". These make modernist looking churches look like Renaissance works of art!

Walked by there once with a neighbor who speaks Spanish--he asked "what kind of rip-off church is this? The Rev.'s name is "Hurtado"--that means "robber" in Spanish". Enough said.

On Northern Blvd. across the golf center in Little Neck a former commercial building is now a church too. How many more churches do we need ?

Nothing new. Along the south side banks of the LIRR line at Murray Hill, there's a Korean church occupying a former factory building.
That was about 20 years ago...I think.
Another tax paying property removed from the tax roles.
And who makes up for the shortfall?
The homeowners of the nabe.
Soon we will have more pseudo churches that residences...ALL with the approval of the government.
Think I'll get one of those California Doctor of divinity certificates and hold services in my garage. Thus I shall be able to take my home, too, off the tax rolls.
Of not , soon I will be taxed out of it.
Hmmmmm....maybe President Trump will put an end to these religious pretenders taking over America.
Let's see. Happy new year to all, and to,all a good night!
