A glutton for punishment

From the NY Post:

Former Rep. Anthony Weiner is laying the groundwork for a political comeback, possibly as a startling addition to this year’s mayoral race, sources said yesterday.

Political insiders were abuzz at news that Weiner and his wife, Huma Abedin, had granted a lengthy magazine interview for the first time since his resignation in an embarrassing sexting scandal in 2011.

“The magazine piece is step one of a two-step process for him to run citywide this year,” said one Democratic Party source.

“He’s looking at public advocate and comptroller, but he really thinks he can use this to get back in and run for mayor.”

Weiner issued a terse “no comment” when asked about his plans.

It's simple. Wiener likes to be whacked.

I'd vote for him, considering the opposition.

At least he had the balls to show his balls!

LOL!
Unless you wish to vote for John Liu.

He does have a prayer! I am a libertarian republican and although Anthony Weiner is an obnoxious politician, his bad behavior was limited pretty much to showing half-naked pictures of himself online to women with whom he never met or intended to meet.

Given the choices in this race, I'd give Anthony a second look. He represented a moderate, ethnically mixed district and his views are actually more in line with the pragmatic and late Ed Koch. I would take him over Quinn, Liu and these other crooks any day this century.

He'd be the only jewish candidate in this race and the jewish vote can still sway this election.

Weiner's politics were better than his prick...
so, in the end, who really cares who he showed it off to?

I vote for the man's stance not his schvance.

FDR has his mistress and he was a good president.
Shall we go down the line of all great men who dallied and diddled on the side?

Jefferson, Washington...yadda, yadda, yadda.
Where would our nation be without these lusty men?

Maybe Weiner was derailed by his aspiring mayoral contenders, because (up until the sexting incident) he had the best chance of winning.

Look at John Liu. He wound up f-----g us all.
Weiner was only (stupidly) caught flashing.

All of this fuss about Weiner.

Didn't Quinn once bare her breasts in public, during her early radical lesbian days?

Boys will be boys and girls will be girls.

Look at me Wiener is a long shot but I would not count him out yet, not that I endorse him, I don't. I don't think what he did is that grave except for the fact he is married and he is a public POL - on both counts gravely stupid - do we need more stupids in government?

Let him run for whatever he wants. Anthony s a good guy, a couple of people will have paid employment for a while.

No, he is a histrioninc publcity hog. He don't matter seeming foolish as long as everyone sees him.

And Quinn isn't a histrionic publicity hog?
C'mon troll, you've been discovered.
No use trying to hide under Chrissy's bloomers.
