Queens has fewest complaints against NYPD

From DNA Info:

The borough's precincts tallied the lowest number of complaints against its officers in the city, according to statistics from the comptroller's office.

None of the precincts in Queens made it into the top 15 precincts on Stringer's list.

The 101st Precinct in Far Rockaway came in second in the borough, with 35 claims on 864 crimes, which is 4.05 percent, while the 104th Precinct, which covers Ridgewood, Glendale, Middle Village and Maspeth, had just four complaints out of 1,510 crimes — the lowest number of complaints in the entire city.

Is this a metric we should be using to judge a precinct by?

It's easy to win this contest by the cops not doing anything.

Queens has the fewest complaints on just about anything. Polite sheep, illegals in the shadows, and just the plain stupid do not complain.

It's no big surprise - illegals don't want to be noticed!

The reason why you can never find a cop when you need one.

The reason the 104th came in lowest in the city in complaints against the cops is that its citizens agree with the job the cops have to do. I believe the 104 has one of the higher rates of quality of life calls.

When seconds count, the Police are only minutes away.
(unless you are in the 104, than it could be weeks)

remember:
.. a government and its agents are under no general duty to provide public services, such as police protection, to any particular individual citizen... Supreme Court Ruling
Castle Rock v. Gonzales & Warren v. District of Columbia
YOU HAVE NO INDIVIDUAL RIGHT TO POLICE PROTECTION!
The job of the police is to investigate, arrest and charge AFTER a crime is committed.
(and you are dead)

911 - government sponsored Dial a Prayer.

Gun Control:
The theory that a woman found dead in an alley, raped and strangled with her own panty-hose, is somehow morally superior to a woman explaining to police how her attacker got that fatal bullet wound.

just like insurance, airbags, seat-belts and fire extinguishers, I rather have a gun and not need it than need it and not have it.

remember 1992 in Los Angeles, Ferguson, Baltimore, et cetera
it could never happen there, or so they said.
Michael Brown's stepfather: 'Burn this bitch down!'

The 104th Precinct has had some very good commanding officers of late. That's the reason the precinct is the very best in the City of New York! It's by far the most responsive,

A CCW may be impossible unless your a cop, real estate person or a politician however Everybody should at least apply for a home or "hunting" firearm. As good as cops may be its a SURE bet they WONT be around when life VS death you really need them. In a real emergency the animals will come through your windows looking for food, alcohol, drugs and money. You wont be able to retreat far or call 911 (as the bullshit NYC castle doctrine law says you must do first before acting) There are simply not enough cops to do squat in Queeens. Remember Katrina, Rodney King LA and the Ferguson riots.

yes the 104 is good now
problem is we train them & polish them and then they move up, we lose them and start all over again
would be nice to have a commander for more than a year or 2

Joe, for the beginner readers here: how just does one go about getting a home or "hunting" firearm? Thanks.

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS VERY CAREFULLY!

click her for NYC pistol license application

You may obtain a hunting authorization from the NYC Pistol License Division to carry your pistol afield while activly engaged in hunting when you hunt in an authorized area designated by the NYS Fish and Wildlife law. Your handgun must be transported unloaded, in a locked container and you must comply with all relevant NYS hunting regulations. (you do not hunt with the pistol - it is for protection)

Per NYC law - once you are approved for a NYC pistol license, you have 30 days to buy a pistol, otherwise your permit expires and you can go through the entire $429.75 permit application process again.

here is short helpful video about the process

What does the number of crimes have to do with the number of civilian complaints???
The smart cop today takes the Sgt shultz mantra and runs with it.......

The people have spoken, now now they must be punished.

Sh*t has little to do with illegals. There are simply far less ignorant miscreants doing stuff to warrant police attention in Ozone Park compared to the fuckerous hell-hole next door down highway-27 West.
