Haggerty convicted

From NY1:

A former aide accused of stealing more than a million dollars from Mayor Michael Bloomberg has been found guilty of grand larceny in the second degree this afternoon by a Manhattan jury.

John Haggerty was also found guilty of money laundering in the second degree.

He was found not guilty of grand larceny in the first degree.

His company was also found guilty of money laundering in the second degree.

Haggerty is accused of stealing more than a million dollars from the mayor’s 2009 campaign, saying he would be performing a ballot security operation, but instead using the money to buy a house.

Bloomberg and his so called Independents set up Haggerty to take the fall. More information would have come out about Bloomberg otherwise. maybe it will be very lucrative for Mr. Haggerty to go to jail.

The house was the downpayment,I'd guess, but Boombucks can't buy off everyone ad infinitum. His hubris will eventually do him in.In the meantime, we suffer his BS!

Stealing from the "1%" is still a crime?

When are those Zuccotti Park protesters going to get of their arses, rewrite the Constitution, and free this political prisoner?

"A crook among crooks. brother John goes to jail, Bloombucks will continue to buy support, and brother Bart, keeps the proceeds of the crime."

John was sued by the DA in a civil forfeiture action. I don't know how it all works out, but maybe Bart will have to sell his apartment as well. At the very least, John will lose the house, and probably get divorced as well. I hope his wife doesn't lose her cushy gig with the NYSLA.

Looks like the proceeds of the crime stayed in la familia. John stole the money, washed it and it ended up in the pockets of Bart. Now the question is, did any of it the move back around the circle from Bart's pocket into John's pocket?

Still dealing in innuendo. Typical low grade con-servative.
