Meet the men who would be mayor

Since one or more of Bloomberg's opponents -- yes, they exist -- will attend this event, you can count on him not showing up. He wouldn't want to risk a face-to-face meeting with them. He doesn't even acknowledge their existence. As far as he's concerned, it will be a field of one in November. He lets his incessant ads do the talking for him. He'll come up with some cockamamie excuse to avoid this event -- like staging yet another "key to the city" ceremony. Or maybe he'll be out of town for the day. One way or another, you can bet that his busy schedule will prevent him from being there.

I would not bet on your statement - I am sure he gave money to each of the sponsors listed to hold this event. Free breakfast give-a-away by a non-profit?

Bloomy will have no problem winning again, face it. Maybe if there was someone who had a chance of beating him he would show up. Otherwise why bother. Most people don't know who's running against him. Some will say Wiener, but he's not going to . There are plenty of people who are not native NY'ers who know live here and vote., and not one of them know's who Avella is.

Then again, it is only May and the election is in November! I can't imagine how much Bloomturd is spending daily on ads in electronic and print media, mailings, obnoxious phone calls, and other methods. I personally find it to be an affront, especially in these difficult economic times when most New Yorkers are struggling just to make ends meet. The worst part of Bloomturd's ads are the blatant deceptions. For example, how can he claim to create 400,000 jobs when city workers are being laid off left and right? I'm just sayin'...

CITY COUNCILMAN TONY AVELLA FOR MAYOR!

You don't need a lot of money to campaign. Facebook, Twitter, using a friend's window or rooftop, wearing a pin- all of these are free!

Billy Thompson, are you listening?

Post is hosting this. This could be a Republican hit job on the democratic candidates
