Pinky to pocket an extra $10G

Disgraced City Councilman Dennis Gallagher, who pleaded guilty Monday to sexually abusing a Middle Village grandmother in his campaign office, asked prosecutors for an extra 30 days in office, a law enforcement source said Tuesday.

"It could've been an immediate resignation, but he suggested 30 days," the law enforcement source said, noting that Gallagher said he didn't want to leave his staffers without a job.

"That's why he was given the 30 days, so his staff can make whatever accommodations they have to," the source added.

Gallagher's no-jail plea deal requires him to resign from office on April 18, setting the stage for a special election to fill the seat that could take place as early as the first week in June.

But local civic leaders see that time as one month too long.

"Giving him another month and an extra $10,000 pay doesn't seem right," said Bob Holden, president of the Juniper Park Civic Association. "He's not really helping the community."

Why didn't he just ask for another 9 months?

For his staff's sake, of course.

I'm sure the idiots in the DAs office would have bought that load of shit too.

He was surprised by his own plea deal? He didn't know it was coming? So he had no time to warn his staff to jump ship?

Like a shit stain on a shoe, he and the DA just won't have his snout out of the trough, and rid us of this predator.

Was this disgrace worth the stain, Brown? You have some housecleaning to do.

Are we to know you as a liar who fixes cases of vicious assaults on women in favor of the clan?

Why all of a sudden concern for his staff?

He's been f----g the community up the "A" for years!

I'll bet he's going to take that extra 10 grand
and use it to flee to a country that doesn't
have an extradition treaty with the United States,
so he can avoid his victim
filing a civil suit against him.

That raping, thieving SOB.....I wouldn't give him the skin off a grape, let alone an extra 30 days
(unless they are spent in jail in Bubba's arms !!

Where are the other council member on this? This is outragious - DG put himself in this trouble not the citizens who will pay 10K for this S*** head. Our area is a laughingstock were it not for the civics who have the heat on 24x7

He is probably planing to make a few more lucrative, backroom deals, during the extra month, to retire on.

GET THIS DIRTBAG OUT OF OFFICE NOW!

And he gets to keep his pension. Crime sure does pay if you know the right people and you're a Queens politician. Never believed the days of Donald Manes had ended.

Look at that sleazy mustache.....
or are they "shit wings" from having his face up the ass of clubhouse politics for too long?

G-d help us all
if this is what passes for a NYC councilman !

Read the papers - these are out leaders! They deserve respect!

The media never saw a politician than can't pander to - no wonder the public can't put these bums in their place.

We all should remember Gallagher's Juniper Idiots hate blog used this picture for a post: "Gallagher's Brave Stand" referring to the Pink Sex Molester's appearance before the grand jury. Me thinks they backed the wrong horse. What a bunch of morons!

Go Crapper!

Hey Moe is your blog still up?

The Queens District Attorney has a lot of explaining to do. Allowing Council Member Gallagher to plea 10 counts of rape & assault down to two misdemeanor charges with NO JAIL time is an outrage. The evidence in this case will come out and prove that the DA was politically pressured to remove the pink menace from his council seat in return for a sweetheart deal.

Who would benefit from Gallagher's removal? Of course the Queens Democratic Party. And who's the leader of the Queens Dems? Joseph Crowley. And who is running is running for the seat and a cousin to that Dem leader? Elizabeth Crowley. And who could win a special election with a low turnout because of a special interest union block. Crowley. And who set up that union block vote for Crowley? Brian McLaughlin, the crook.

Stay tuned folks as the Feds get involved in this. This is going to be fun!

IT'S ABOUT TIME THAT THE FOCUS OF THE CORRUPT QUEENS DEMOCRATIC MACHINE HOLDS JOSEPH CROWLEY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE TOTAL LACK OF RESPECT FOR THE ELECTORATE. HE WAS THE BENEFICIARY OF TOM MANTON'S INCREDIBLY DISGRACEFUL MOVE. HE IS A CONGRESSMAN SOLEY ON THE BASIS OF A BACKROOM DEAL.

YOUR REIGN IS ABOUT TO END MR. CROWLEY. THIS TIME YOU HAVE GONE TOO FAR.

Ken Appelbaum: you made an incredibly dumb move in listening to the wrong people. You should've known better.

Remember the advice you received before this fiasco. Unfortunately, you didn't listen.

Bad move.

Applebaum and Fisher made the victim an "either/or" deal where she had to choose between going after Pinky or going after the police who mistreated her. Why did they do that when the police complaint would have been handled within the department and not involved them at all? And then why the lame plea?
