The old Van Sicklen house that was demolished for new housing went from one house to four houses in three months.
This looks like two family homes with potential basement studio apartments. Which will probably be legal with the "City Of Yes" doctrine that's about to be implemented to fast track new development.
What's all this bullshit being said lately that building new housing in New York City is illegal?

No doubt on that, they will start falling apart right after they get their inspections, CO's and get occupied.
The stairways, windows, kitchen & bathroom sink hardware, particle board cabinets and AC outlets are the first to go. (Usually in that order)
How these shit eastern block country kit build instant rent generators meet quality and UL standards in this country I have no idea.

They knocked down a beautiful one family home on my parents block as well and changed it into 3 houses which I know will be sectioned off and broke off into "two family homes" that will house about 4 families in it and they got rid of the driveway which really should have been totally illegal but in the city, nothing is illegal anymore. They just want to turn every block into a holiday Inn and for you to never know who your real neighbors are.
