Remember the Wetlands on Hudson Street. They had some good shows.
Couomo's a jerk, wash rinse repeat.

$WHACKD the green space !
Although S I gets far more support for its history and non-profits than Queens (and even more if you excluded transgender chefs showing kindergarten kids how to use woks in cooking), the fact is both boroughs are in a twilight Dark Ages - you get nothing done or accomplished unless the Man in the High Castle approves it - or even more importantly, a celebrity from outside to become involved.
In a flash, scowls at uppity serfs become benign smiles through clenched teeth as the outside interloper does and says things that would never pass for the browbeaten peasants in those benighted areas.
Gee, if Barbara You-Know-Who can give blessings to the Hudson Yard farce she certainly could have done SOMETHING useful for these poor people. Exhibit A on why community preservation in NYC is for all intents and purposes dead.
He's killed grandma and grandpa in a nursing home. Why not wetlands. Everything this guy has a hand in seems to die.
I bet Cuomo gets re-elected
Exhibit A on why community preservation in NYC is for all intents and purposes dead.
And why we should have public support removed from the city budget. Why are poor people paying for something the only helps rich people. All we get when we try something is a smirk.
Defund elitist community preservation efforts until all can enjoy this privilege for the rich.
Sad this land is mature and rare here in NYC, could have been cleaned up and a great preserve. There is plenty of existing dormant commercial space that could have been bought instead to develop. Once this green space is gone it is gone forever.. I'm sure many birds bats turtles toads and suffered a loss of habitat or life. We know how cuomo disregards life though.
This is why many of us are moving or have already to greener red states
No more wetlands for the Sheeple? What a disgrace.
The sheeple can check themselves in at the all new BJ's meat department.
Well, I guess I have to be the one to say it: Wasn't it already pretty clear that Andrew is pro-BJ?
Where is AOC? Where are the Bike Nuts? Where are the Waterfront folks? Greens?
I could go on and on. But it's a real black eye that should be thrown in their faces every time they go after your car or parking space. Just as we always suspected, white upper or middle-class people are environmental when it comes to their lives but could give to bits if it's working-class or non-socialists.
They remind me of a big environmentalist that attended the Paris Conference on Climate Change in 2015 .... traveled by jet as most of the other attendees. They are full of Crap!!!!!!!!!!
Can someone in Staten Island pull up that anchor and let it float away into the middle of the ocean.
Why kill a natural habitat for big business that is home to local animals and is a rare green space in NYC?
Because Cuomo kills anything as long as it benefits his checking account.
Staten Island used to be great, Then they closed Fresh Kills.
After the next hurricane, BJ's will be under water. Guess who'll bail them out when the insurance company says no?
You got it! The Sheeple will.
Is BJ’s some kind of whore house?
