Looks like I wasn't the only one to notice this bizarro religious/prank mashup. This has to be a first or a once every 1000 years thing.
Never could understand why Jesus wasn't depicted more throughout art history laughing his ass off. My favorite laughing Jesus was originally published - in all places! - Playboy magazine - which I, of course, bought for the great articles. Check that one out HERE.
The two paintings that I think really hit the issue of Resurrection right on the head are Hans Holbein the Younger's "The Body of the Dead Christ in the Tomb" seen HERE and Andrea Mantegna's "The Lamentation over the Dead Christ" seen HERE.
Both of these show Jesus right the Great Event
