Borough Hall has been moved to Missouri

And there you have it. This may be where the Mayor actually is as he is quite the jetsetter lately. Original link.

That says much about the idiocy of Borough Hall and this administration as well. AND what is with the hours of 9am to 1pm on weekdays, I guess they don't want constituents coming with their mounds of fucking problems in this borough.

Just more bullshit piled on bullshit. NYC SUCKS.

The first skill required for "proof reading" is the ability to read the the basic English language.

These are the results of hiring someone with a public school education.

Let us start the wagering, what percentage of occupants within the hallowed halls in Borough Hall could find the great State of Missouri on a map?

My bet is nine percent...

I was hoping back in March before Preet got canned that a town hall would be held at Rikers.

Missouri, it might be a mistake but it unwittingly shows the length De Faustio will go to avoid the true and disgruntled constituency.

By the way, the image is BROOKLYN Borough Hall, not Queens Borough Hall.
Proofreading isn't their only problem. Do they even know where they are? Or do they wish their borough had such an architecturally distinguished seat of government?

The only buildings at that address according to Google Maps are cheap interstate hotels and gas stations. Both of which would definitely be locations Katz and Co. would have meetings at.

"...the image is BROOKLYN Borough Hall..."

It's the current City Hall in downtown Manhattan.

Jeff

That is City Hall in Manhattan.

See the "David Dinkins" Municipal Building peaking over its shoulder?

There's a Arby's on exit 19! This should shut up all those Obamakers who think Google is the answer to everything. Someone needs to poke the eyes out of all the goon ghoules in Chelsea Market and tell them to update their browsers then make them swallow their smart phones and tell them to verify themselves. Just because they are spoiled with super fast connections doesn't mean we are or want to be.

Missouri, Queens, what's the difference? Close enough for Government work.

There is no intelligent life in the Mayor's office or elsewhere in city government.

You can't fix stupid. Or incompetent.

Helen Marshall Cultural Center? That depraved hack wouldn't know culture if it bit her lumpy, lazy ass!

Now, wasn't she the intensely incompetent dirtbag who carted off Queens Boulevard's ONLY work of precious art, Triumph Of Civic Virtue, that sat atop a working foundtain adjacent to Queens Borough Hall for nearly 71 years, during which time the breathtaking statue bothered NO ONE?? Meanwhile, public art is now banished to a Brooklyn graveyard, as Kew Gardens Plaza is turned into a generic strip mall of flowers (and publicly unauthorized patronage and recognition) to the same women in Queens politics who were responsible for destroying the fountain base (and turning it into a giant flower pot), in the first place!

Call Borough Hall what you will, political puppets and sycophants, but using the word culture in the same sentence of that venomous viper (and ignorant, uneducated West Indian woman), is like renaming a rape crisis center to: Bill Cosby Safe House Center for Rape Victims!

❝I think that our society is run by insane people for insane objectives. I think that we're being run by maniacs for maniacal ends. I think that they are all insane. But, I am liable to be put away as insane for expressing that. That's what is insane about it. Don't you agree?❞ —John Lennon

❝The nihilism and rage sweeping across the globe are not generated by warped ideologies or medieval religious beliefs. These destructive forces have their roots in the obliterating of social, cultural and religious traditions by modernization and the consumer society, the disastrous attempts by the United States to carry out regime change, often through coups and wars, and the utopian neoliberal ideology that has concentrated wealth in the hands of a tiny cabal of corrupt global oligarchs.❞ —Chris Hedges, The Age of Anger

After what Marshall did to Queens Boulevard, when she so ordered the eviction of a 16-ton statue, Triumph of Civic Virtue, on Saturday, December 12, 2012, it's obscene and vulgar to couple Marshall's forever soiled-and-disgraced name with ANY cultural center tribute. Honest, ethical leadership (that leads by example was not her schtick)!

And, here is what Robert LoScalzo, a documentary filmmaker, had to say about the sordid debacle involving the eviction of Triumph Of Civic Virtue, as he posted below on Queens Crap, on Thursday, May 5, 2016:

❝As far as what is happening with the Triumph of Civic Virtue statue is concerned, one could never invent a story like this, because it just would not be believable.

City first denied any secret plan to move the colossal statue off of Queens Boulevard. City then implemented its secret plan, and moved statue to a Brooklyn cemetery on the pretext that cemetery would bear certain costs of restoring the statue. Instead, public funds paid to restore the statue——on the premises of the cemetery, where the statue remains now. Meanwhile, City is implementing separate plan to renovate the statue's fountain base at Queens Boulevard, at a cost that is 10 times greater than the cost of restoring the statue, and WITHOUT ever returning the statue to its base once everything is restored!

Would you restore the frame of the Mona Lisa, then put just the frame on display while sending the actual painting somewhere else, and expect the public to believe that's terrific? That's what is happening. The only beneficiary here is Brooklyn's private Green-Wood cemetery, which received a valuable colossal public art statue——still public property ——for the cemetery to display as it pleases.

That's why this issue is not over, yet. And, it's a perfect example of why Queens is the laughingstock of art, among all of the City's boroughs.❞
