Silver disbarred

From Politico:

Former Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver, who was convicted on felony corruption charges last year relating to the confluence of his work as a lawyer and a lawmaker, has been disbarred.

Silver automatically lost his Assembly seat upon his conviction, and on Tuesday, a state court revoked his ability to practice law.

Of course he still gets his pension, sadly it will be his only reason to not kill himself.

He unofficially revoked his ability to practice law when he thought he was above it.

As long as Cuomo remains governor, the corruption WILL CONTINUE.
Andy boy closed the investigation when it came too close to one of his closest friends.
What has the guv to hide? Plenty! Obviously!
Cuomo is also a crook and Albany is the hole In the wall where the hole in the wall gang of crooked pol's hides out.

Oops, didn't Archie Bunker think of siding his brick house?

Anyone else think that Headtie is a jerk, a poor speaker, and looks like a thug? Very curious how he got the job.

Bill Clinton ALSO got his law license removed for perjury, yet he stayed in office. Corrupt from top to bottom at every level of govt.

Disbarment doesn't matter. Now he'll become a lobbyist and double or even triple his income by shoveling money at his corrupt former colleagues. Shelly won't even spend a single day in prison because of his age. The joke is on all of us.

just because you've been disbarred doesn't mean you won't get your license back. He'll do community service inside and can get his license back.
