149th Street bridge still not being repaired

"This is the 2nd construction permit for Unicorn construction, for the 149 street LIRR Bridge in Flushing, and no work or delivery of equipment has even started yet, even with this second permit.

I wonder why nothing has started even after 2 permits.

This is such a wasteful project. They should shore up what's there now. They can do that if they leave the street closed to cars/trucks. Everyone is fine without it, and this will save tens of millions of dollars.

So glad I moved to College Point from :"Murray Hell" back in 1990, and that my buddy Hsiuh sold the deli on $1st shortly thereafter

. Anybody "living" there has gotta be NUTS!

Let Trump finish it.

Zhit hole Flushing. Who cares about anything anymore.
Only if the road bed collapses onto the LIRR tracks below will
the manager of the Port Washington line give a damn.
Maybe the Great Neck riders should be told about the dangerous condition.
All of those wealthy Persian commuters might raise hell.

I can guarantee you that if this in any way affected LIRR operations up-stream in Nassau county (Persians, Jews, white people, etc. all included) it would be fixed tomorrow.

Robert Moses built entire highways in the amount of time it is taking to build this bridge. This is utterly ridiculous.

Didn't Donald Trump finally rebuild the Wollman Memorial skating rink that was floundering for years?
Let "The Donald" take over the job. "You're fired!"

Typical city contracts being determined by back office nimbrods never accountable for their choices. Their choices regarding problems falls into a different area.

Make someone's pay in the city demonstrate their ability to oversee and end contracts, you'll see some wealthy city employees, the other 90% will be working at Chipotle.
