Jackson Heights Food Court closed

From DNA Info:

The Jackson Heights Food Court, which re-opened in the fall after the city closed it for health code violations, mysteriously shuttered its doors again last week, according to customers.

The restaurant and market opened in 2012 in the site of a former movie theater at 73-07 37th Ave. inside Diversity Plaza.

The food court first closed in October after inspectors discovered it was operating without city or state permits, officials said.

Officials later found the presence of mice and other vermin inside the market.

Only in Queens would you find a pandering lame name like that - everything in this borough is geared to Machine vote getting.

Diversity Plaza....Melinda Katz's crew must have named it.
Doesn't it dovetail nicely with , Queens...the world's borough?

A vibrant and diverse variety of rodents and bugs. And no, I don't mean the people, for all of you easily offended.

Diversity Plaza is apparently THE place to go for diverse filth-mice, roaches, etc.

"Diversity Plaza"! What a bad thing for us! Acceptance of others' cultures is so wrong.....

Pa-lese, the problem is the one trick pony that is rammed down our throats. we KNOW we are diverse, we KNOW that our country is made up of many threads, its just the incessant ramming down our throats to the exclusive of other ideas.

I think the real reason is to divide communities by ethnic background, by age, you name it. This is tiresome tedious tendentious Tweeding at its worst. After 40 years of this its time to move on people!

I can't believe the insensitivity being displayed here to the diversity of the global community that has developed in this part of queens. We need to be more accepting of the "cultural" dining proclivities of these folks. Now excuse me I'm pretty sure I'm going to vomit.

Maybe they'll bring back the Earle, a little Indian red light district, if you will. Now that would add some vibrant diversity to the area!
