The disaster at 65-11 Grand Avenue that was featured on these pages in August of last year has finally been completed after they got their act together. Bravo for removing the eyesore.

Not too bad but it's still going to probably house 6 illegal families into it!
Hey Crappie you should have put the before photo up too.For years this was the worst eyesore on Grand Ave.in the Maspeth business district. The siding came off and the front door was always open and garbage was piled up in the front yard.Hard to tell if anyone lived there but I'm sure if the door is left open kids or the homeless hung out there.

Why your neighborhood is full of Queens Crap
"The difference between dishonest and honest graft: for dishonest graft one worked solely for one's own interests, while for honest graft one pursued the interests of one's party, one's state, and one's personal interests all together." - George Washington Plunkitt

It's nice to see responsible and attractive construction for a change.
Remember the discussion on vinyl siding following the first post?
I can only ask: attractive? I am NOT a Fedders fan.
Yeah... Not great but better than MOST new construction we see in Queens....
Hope they finish the front stoop soon....

What an ugly piece of cheap shit - too bad the owners were too cheap to restore the original wood building!
This building has been sitting and rotting for so many years. I remember back in the mid 90s this home was already a disaster
