We have a lot of this in Suffolk County. Not this year but prior even the D.A. I am not going to vote for any one who is cross endorsed by both the Dem and Rep. Cons. always sneaked in just to get the free jobs. You really do nots have a real choice.
There were no choices for most of the offices on the ballot. Most of the candidates were cross-endorsed. This means that the party bosses decided who was to be elected. This is not a democracy. And, a number of candidates were relatives of other office holders. This is nepotism; Morgan Lancman, wife of Rory Lancman, Andrew Hevesi, son of Alan Hevesi, Anna Culley, daughter of Anthony Seminerio, etc. To add insult to injury, all evidence indicates that Anna Culley lives in Rockville Centre, Nassau County. Thus, she was not even eligible to be a NYC Civil Court Judge. She filed candidacies using her parents' home in Ozone Park, which has apparently been sold, and another address recorded to a different name. Evidence shows that her children have gone to school in Rockville Centre. She has a deed to her home in Rockville Centre for at least ten years. Maybe her husband, connected with a legal disciplinary committee, can explain how the Queens residences filed with her candidacies are not a sham. Someone should look into this and take appropriate action. It's time for these shenanigans to stop!

Wouldn't it be great if a write in candidate won? That would sure shake things up.
Since no one ran against meng& nilly I wrote in Ron Paul and Rudy.
"Voyte wisely".
<< Voting
<< Wisely
Those two words cannot be used in conjunction with each other.
You'd be more well off riding a bicycle for 20 minutes for some exercise rn collecting cans in the street for a few dollars.
Yea, I wrote in Mojgan Cohanim Lancman
Is she Rory's wife?
If Mrs. Lancman gets more votes on the GOP line, will she be more conservative as a judge?
Does anyone know who was on the GOP Judicial nominating committee? Was it Turner/Ulrich's people? Or Beltrani's?

Friend –
I am asking for your vote today.
Election Day is here and the polls are officially open! Please stand with me and my fellow New York Democrats and cast your ballot today.
Thanks for your support!
Joe Crowley
I like my ticket, too.
Where i have a choice of Grace Meng, or nobody. and for Mike Miller, or nobody.
Boss Tweed taught them well !
How does a housewife get a judgeship?
Is she Rory's wife?
Yes, she's an attorney and her family is of Iranian descent. I wonder how the Lancmans felt when Rory came home with her the first time?
So who won?
And Anon No. 13: There are Iranian Jews.
Mrs. Lancman is no housewife. Look her up before making sexist comments. She has her own legal education and career.
