When will the NYC Parks Dept plant new trees at Hoffmann Park?

Here's what Hoffmann Park in Elmhurst looks like these days.

Looks like it may be time to either remove those stumps and asphalt in the tree pits and plant new trees in them.

I had planned to also show you the back of St. John's Hospital, but I think I'll save that eyesore for another post.

Send email to Queens Parks Commissioner via NYC.gov.
She shoud be aware of this longstanding issue.

Make a service request through 311 for new tree plantings. It's very easy.

Yes making the service request is easy but having them fulfill the request is the hard part.

I had requested new trees to replace the stumps and empty pits in the center traffic median by my home over three years ago and nothing ever happened.
