Introducing the Ñ train

From the Huffington Post:

A group calling themselves "Z Street Art" has taken credit for the re-christening of the N train in New York City as the Ñ train. The artists say the project was done in honor of the 24 percent of New Yorkers who speak Spanish.

It's not art - just vandalism.

Why do these people need this constant attention? Why have all other immigrant groups been able to suceed or fail on their own? Is it liberalisms celebration of futility that will always make sure that some people remain as "victims"? I don't know anymore, but its not good

I'd wager $100 that "Z Street Art" is composed entirely of lame, pasty, self-flagellating, self-hating, limp-wristed White liberals living in Williamsburg.

Watch out for the third rail, remember what happened to Ramon in Beat Street, you White wimps!

Last I checked the N train operated in the United States where they speak English. Do that to the N train in Mexico City or wherever.

Anonymous, we absolutely do not have an official language in the US.

Deke's got it right! And I noticed Deegan's writing his comments in the lost official language of the USA, English.

For all its problems, NYC was a much more bearable place when those of us who have to go out and work to make a living weren't constantly bombarded by the immature antics of these trust fund fools. They apparently don't have any clue what it means to live a productive life and feel the need to remind us all that they have too much free time on their hands.

They are right there is no official language...but english should be it....I came across this.....According to U.S. English, the following states have existing official language laws on their books: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Wyoming. A small handful date back more than a few decades, such as Louisiana (1811) and Nebraska (1920), but most official language statutes were passed since the 1970's.'
SADLY, NY is not one of them!
