Sad ending for a cute house
Cute house, no? Well, we can't be saving and preserving things that look nice.

As Pardon Me for Asking points out:
How terribly ironic that the empty lot is now selling for less than the original house sold for in 2007. Had the owner just left it standing, it would have been worth a lot more. And a cute historical house would have been preserved in the neighborhood.

The area has been down zonoed to R6B from R6. This house will never be able finished unless a variance is granted. I wonder how come the permit hasn't been revoked by DOB yet.
Stupid is as stupid does.

The variance will be given. It's how the system works in NYC.
