Why is Dutch Kills Civic Association publicly opposing the Queensboro Bridge renaming while the Queens Civic Congress sits silent? This one is a no-brainer!

Because they support buddy boy Vallone and QCC for all intents and purposes conceeds this area to UCCA.
Ed Koch bought his burial plot in Trinity Cemetery in upper MANHATTAN in April 2008. From The "Ed Koch" entry on Wikipedia he stated: "The idea of leaving Manhattan permanently irritates me."
See? Utter contempt for the other boroughs.
Help in this continuing effort to keep this VILE Manhattanite's name OFF OF OUR BRIDGE. Find your NYC Councilmember here and let him/her know your opposition to this unmitigated nerve.

Why your neighborhood is full of Queens Crap
"The difference between dishonest and honest graft: for dishonest graft one worked solely for one's own interests, while for honest graft one pursued the interests of one's party, one's state, and one's personal interests all together." - George Washington Plunkitt
The above organizations are recognized by Queens Crap as being beneficial to the city as a whole, by fighting to preserve the history and character of our neighborhoods. Save the name "Queensboro Bridge"!

Do it now or forever hold your tongue.
Vallone is against it, he is waiting to get it named Peter Vallone Sr. crossing.

Or double crossing?
QCC did mention it in an email blast and, in polite Queens fashion, ASKED the public not to support having its name changed.
Thats the fighting spirit!
Maybe the Queens Civic Congress has to have a discussion about it first before they make a public statement?
That's the way a lot of civic associations are supposed to make decisions, although many don't.
So when the hell will they have the discussion? After the renaming is pushed through?
The idea was first brought up 2 months ago.
