QCC's position on revising the city charter
Lost in the Ozone has posted the Queens Civic Congress' Statement of Principles for Charter Revision. You can read through the lengthy document if you choose to. I don't think it goes far enough, however, with respect to strengthening the roles of Borough President and Community Boards in the ULURP process or changing the way community board members are appointed. And they're for expanding the BSA? It needs to be eliminated, IMHO.

First it was Sean Walsh who screwed up QCC by being focused primarily with what went on in his own Doug North nabe (shortly afterwards becoming an absentee prez by spending most of his time in D.C.);
then blob boy Berak really blew the org to hell;
now Miss Patricia Dolan (a legend in her own imagination) is attempting to get the Congress off life support.
Good luck ol' spinster!
QCC is showing the beginnings of becoming an anemic ersatz network of civics that the NYC power structure is laughing up their sleeves at.
Correction...Doug South nabe.
same people running the queens preservation groups too.
'Splains a lot, 'eh?
