City harassing Willets Point business owner

From Willets Point United:

On Thursday afternoon, a City ticket officer issued a $115 ticket for a legally parked truck on 127th Place near 34th Avenue belonging to Bono Sawdust Supply. Pictured is company co-owner Jack Bono questioning the officer as to why a ticket is being written. The reply he received was, "Because I don't like your boss." When the argument persisted, the officer ended it by saying, "It's up to you to prove that this is a bogus ticket."

This is the same ticket officer who threatened to have the police confiscate a Willets Point business owner's cell phone after it was used to take a photo which was featured in this post.

Note: Jack Bono is a Vietnam Veteran who the City is threatening with eminent domain for private gain.

I suggest that everybody arm themselves with a spy pen video camera. They go for $60 on eBay and have good video quality and sound. You can wear it all the time and capture evidence immediately.

This kind of flip response from the officer and the persistent bullying comes directly from the top of our local government. (Remember Hizzoner's comments last week about the kindergarteners shut out of their neighborhood schools?) So much for coutesy, professionalism, and respect.

Let's do what we must to throw the bum out in November. NO THIRD TERM!

What does it say about us "tough New Yorkers" that we allow this jackbooted Commissar to persist in the theft of land and livelihood of all those private business owners and employees - many who are union members - to persist?

We all know the destruction of these businesses is for the purpose of handing the stolen land to extremely wealthy developers so they and the jackbooted Commissar can get richer.

Have we all become so sissified that we just sit and watch this theft like cowards?

Now is the time for all of us with some backbone to end this.

Write to the Commissar to tell him that this is his final term in office.

Then, on November 3, dump his jackbooted ass.

I wonder whether this type of behavior should be reported to the FBI or State Attorney General's office. There is such a law as, "Abuse under Color of Authority." If this was on tape, it would be an excellent case.

Mayor Walker was brought down for pretty much the same thing, a corrupt police ring that was extorting women by falsely arresting them as prostitutes. One day they arrested the daughter of a wealthy man who placed a call to the governor...

Try and get DOT to ticket double parked cars in Flushing!

Oh...
but we don't want to offend the Asians!

Jackbooted

EXACTLY
I have a CCD on the dash recording MPEG to a hard disk powered by an old laptop

I almost ended up in handcuffs last time in that same place.
That "cleanup" day.
When the bootjackers saw it (the CCD) they laid off VS "take a chance"

Some crappers here saw it !

I alway have the camera running when I go to Queens ever since the BUk-Rahs started staging the auto "rear end" accident scams

Our transportation committee lad (Tommy Huang's cousin) C.M. Liu is probably in cahoots with his fellow countryman Wellington Chen in prompting DOT to harass the business owners enough so that they leave willingly and the Bloomberg administration doesn't have to resort to invoking those unsightly eminent domain proceedings!

That leaves the field wide open for Chen's buddies at TDC to "develop"
the land that abuts City Field...
while Claire and Evan preside over all this drama perched high in their sky box seats!

"Because I don't like your boss"???
What does this mean, and does anyone really think that some traffic agent really said this? Let's face it, none of us have any love for these tucket hungry vultures, But I seriously doubt that the average traffic agent is so savy in local political issues, or that they are so symbiotic with the local politicians, that they have little daily pow-wows with the politicians in order to agree on who to go after. I think they simply go out, cover alot of ground, hit hard and often, and remember the spots that were lucrative for them. MAYBE, some politician's office makes a call to DOT and instructions are sent down to address a certain condition in a certain location. BUt I seriously doubt that these jerkoffs consciously go out every day with personal instructions from the Mayor to hurt some company because they won't play ball with the city.

Right. We're taking it from a very biased source that the officer allegedly said what he said.

Not taking sides here, just skeptical.

The ticket officer thinks Jake Bono (Jack's son) is "the boss". He is the one who took the original photo of the ticket agent who threatened to call the cops on him.

The fact of the matter is that the DOT has never cared much about what goes on at WP and now all of a sudden they are down there every day. Yes, the politicians send them there to harass the people hoping that if they apply enough pressure, they will give up and sell.

Too bad it won't work.

The victims of the Jackbooted Commissar and his thugs with weapons should contact their attorney with an eye to suing for libel.

The ticket and its contents are public information.

So, the Commissar is publishing malicious libels for profit to extort the private property.

Willets Point victims, you have nothing to lose by pushing back, and everything to lose by doing nothing.

As for the rest of us, we had better get spine and balls and put a stop to this land theft. (Females excepted).

MAYOR BLOOMASS IS CONTROLLING THIS! He wants to take control of the area, for his own "special interst" this man overturns term limits because I believe he has something to hide and wants to clean up. Do you really think he wants a new mayor to come in and see all the abuse this man has used to take control on properties for his own investments. He claimed to be our saviour of the city, I'm a great business man, yeah he got richer and the city is broke, where the hell is all the money? bloomass you claimed you saved the city? You weren't smart enough to invest in something secure? stock markets crash and so did the city...

Oh please, I travel all over Queens, and I see traffic agents on Jamaica and Hillside Avenues all the time, and around Main street and Roosevelt Avenue as well. I hate these pricks as much as the next guy, but I haven't seen ANY evidence to suggest that they collectively avoid certain areas.

They tend to concentrate on areas where people actually pay the tickets.

The picture clearly shows the patrol car belonging to these traffic officers is NYPD, not DOT.

Sick. I got a ticket once from a police officer for "disorderly conduct". I appealed the ticket and the thug (I mean, cop) lied under oath. Corrupt man!!!!! Sick! I got a spy pen too. People arm yourselves with this. NYPD is corrupt.
