You can look right through Darryl Strawberry and see the parking lot.
The new Mr. Met bobblehead has a disturbing open-mouthed grin and apparently he only has upper dentures.
Teamwork and determination apparently weren't enough to get this spot ready before the place was opened to the public for the first time.
You can get sushi at the ballpark now.
Glad they saved this. Wish it was someplace other than above a concession stand.
I'm sure the ad revenue will pick up in a few years.

Mr Met only has his top teeth because is a taxpayer and the teeth were stolen out of his head.
We expect a New Yankee Stadium profile in a couple of weeks.

Now Crappy has finally gone too far. Shake Shack isn't just a "concession stand," it's probably the best damn burger in the city (at least the one in Madison Square Park is). I'm sure it'll whomp all over the admittedly awe inspiring "Schmitter" at Citizen's Bank Park in Philly. Good to know it's just under the cityscape.
If you sell ridiculously priced food to people trapped inside a stadium, you are a concession, no matter how badly you try to market yourself.
My point is that the Shake Shack doesn't serve the horror dogs and nachos-n-sludge we had to endure at Shea. If the quality is anything like that of the stand in Madison Square Park it actually IS worth a few bucks. I have no idea how much the CitiField prices will be - I'll be finding out on Friday - although at MSP they're admittedly not cheap. But, like I said, it is probably the best burger I've had in the city. Certainly in the top tier. So how much is that worth?
(Oddly, probably the best hotdog I ever had was in Reykjavík, Iceland.)
Actually I like Shake Shack. It is so popular in Madison Square that I never can find the 1/2 hour necessary to wait to get to the window.
Of course it is just as well because if you have more than one of those shakes per month, your arteries will clog closed.
The Mets' yearly follies will also induce heart attacks.

trying to have your shake and drink it too....you want to keep the skyline or not? accept the new location and move on.
Why couldn't they put it inside the stadium where it would always be seen? Like above the scoreboard where it was at Shea.
they should move the mets to n j.

Because it would not fit into the corporate cathedral that is Shitty Field!!!
That garbage pail is horrific..
CitiField looks like a shopping mall more than a ballpark.
