The Bronx is my second home, outside of Queens. It is severely disrespected and underrated.
Try Wave Hill, The New York Botanical Gardens, City Island, The Bronx Zoo and Van Cortland for excellent day trips.
White Plains road and Fordham road have excellent shopping.
Excellent food can be found in Arthur Avenue, Morris Park and City Island.
Support your fellow worker. Pay less money when you buy. It's win, win.
