110th Precinct looking out for us!

I'm so happy the NYPD is finally cracking down on serious crime that affects the common man. Even though rape is up 600% in this precinct since 1993, I will sleep well tonight knowing that people are being prevented from parking at the junkyards and being sent to park on the grass at Flushing Meadows instead.

How come no press release about this, Ray?

if people arent wandering around the junk yards at night getting back to their cars after a game maybe the rape numbers will go down

The crime is not happening at Willets Point. In fact there are no registered sex offenders working there. I checked.

Total waste of resources.

80% of the workers are undocumented illegal aliens. We dont know WHO they are.

Additionally, the overall lawlessness and lack of security make sit a terrifying place to be walking through after dark.

Unless these junkyards register as parking establishments and hire full time security they should not be accepting money from naive people visiting CitiField.

Must be cutie Pizzuti's idea!

"80% of the workers are undocumented illegal aliens."

So Dumbass Bloomberg invites them in then has to spend our money and use police manpower to protect us from them? I thought illegals were mostly harmless? And this notice was written in English, to the owners of the properties. Not in Spanish to the illegals who work for them.

If there was crime happening at the Iron Triangle (murder, robbery, rape) it would have been reported as reason for why the land is blighted. It's not happening. The best the city could come up with was some guy stealing parts from Shea's parking lot and selling it to a business here and a 20-year old mob bust. I would say the police presence is needed elsewhere, like where the gangs hang out.

what a joke. who called this in ? wipon ? afraid to lose $$$$ on parking lmao

I don't get this. Are the Willets Point businesses charging Mets fans to park on their property during games. Sorry if I sound ignorant about this, I just didn't know it was going on.

Since when does the NYPD act as the Mets' parking enforcer?

Willets Point businesses have the right to allow people to park on their lots, the same way residences can rent out their garages and driveways.

the uptick in rapes correlates to season ticket sales to Met fans and the cornholing that the Wilpons are exacting upon them. Two straight collapses. Nothing to do with illegal aliens.

what a joke this city is like they have nothing better to do

Clearly not from the letter.

Here's the thing about the law cited: It applies to "vacant lots". None of the WP lots are vacant.

Rape --Naaaa.
There are to many Hookers roaming College Point Blvd behing the shopping center even in broad dayligt.

I got my rear window shot our driving through Manorville Thursday.

The illegels have a huge problem if your driving a truck and dont stop for them there

I had to hit Willets today
They are getting very envirmental and innovative down there and have there own securiety.
They are afraid the citys going to set fires since it has already shut what littles water and fire hydrants they had.

Rear gate window with wiper motor...$75 bux installed OEM privacy glass.
A friend who I will not name was showing me his new compost toilet and 280 watt solar panels.

How will Citibank stadium treat is 600 toilets sewage and where ?

They should be patrolling the other side of Elmhurst near the Maspeth border instead of protecting a baseball stadium and their parking revenues.

That letter is completely legit. Will it be acted upon? not very much. When i was a cop back in the late 80's,we handed out a notice about lighting for multi-(3 or more)family buildings that stated front, rear sides and hallways need to be lit, sundown to sunup. We had people being assaulted, robbed, apts being burglarized, cars broken into, etc. After numerous summones were given to landlords, supers ans renting agents, the area was lit up.Crime went way down.
