One of Queens' oldest firehouses celebrated its 100th anniversary Wednesday. More than 80 retired members and a host of elected officials joined the city's bravest to mark the occasion. NY1's CeFaan Kim filed the following report.

This a prelude to closing it like the fire alarm boxes that Guiliani got rid of right before 9/11.
no one every talks about that. On 9/11 the cell phones and radios were down, if the fire alarm boxes had been operating maybe some people would still be alive today.
what about the other fire houses that have been closed?
