The New York Liberty will make professional basketball history tonight when the team plays the WNBA's first regular-season outdoor game at Arthur Ashe Stadium, the home of tennis' U.S. Open.In addition to making professional basketball history, the Liberty Outdoor Classic will be the first non-tennis sporting event to take place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, Queens, which is the largest public outdoor tennis facility in the world.

Yes, I thought this was a pretty cool event, which got lost in the hype over the Shea concerts last night. The Menudo portion of the lineup I could do without, though. They're just not the same without Ricky Martin (J/K!) :)
Too bad for Rosie O'Donnell and Ellen DeGeneres' limo drivers. They have to drive them all the way out to Queens in order to watch the ladies.....I mean the game!
