what's up with the guy on the fire escape? Seems to be posing for Miss Heather. Wish I had that sort of repore. When I photograph people they usually scowl or give me one of those "ah, why is this maniac taking my picture," looks.
Hey look around you in Middle Village. There is a contractor adding an additional story to single level and 2 story single family homes for 80K. He specializes in the attached row brick homes. It's recommended that 2 ajoining homes be done simultaniously. They stick out amongst their modest neighboring homes so much like cheap bling bling. There is a proliferation of this type expansion and will soon rival the easy to get away with converting garages used to expand basements to apartments. Call 311 wherever you see this occurring.

There is absolutely no way this could be legal! WTF? An engineer approved this alteration? I would love to see the DOB applications on this one...
Rapunzel....Rapunzel....
let down your hair.
The FDNY has got to get in!
Face it. NYC is looking more like a Third World toilet. This featured monstrosity looks like downtown Baghdad.
George, you got that right.
Future decades will look back in digust at the legacy we are giving them.

Absolutely horrendous. Find the owner and slap him publicly on the village green.
