Don't let this property "SLIDE BY"!!!Seems that if an Architect makes many mistakes his license should be reviewed or sued successfully by neighboring property owners. The Architect job is to insure the laws and zoning are adhered to or should not sign off on the project. Is this an example of a prefessional who self-certify's work and got caught? Too bad - 8 years of schooling down the drain for being greedy. City should order the property to be torn down.
why is this job still "revoke pending" since April of last year??? its already almost 2008??? Whats up DOB??? I bet new owner has moved in already, and rented to tenants.
Caliendo is a hack architect himself ! He's another one that's favored by the goombahs.... though not as bad as Petruso or Brooklyn's infamous Bobby "the hairpiece"Sarano!
Another example of self-certification gone bad. Fines are viewed as a cost of buisness and in no case a hinderance to developers. The practice of self-certification must be abolished and any fine meted out should have real teeth - 10-25k per violation, with a much higher daily fine imposed until the violation is cleared up as in this case the structure torn down.
