There are some websites that won't even print the word "crap" (like the NY Times or Outer B). Then there are newspapers that create an entire series that uses the word.
I once was a student of a guy who was the landlord of an apartment (eastside Manhattan in the '30's) where the tenants had to stay in the bedroom while the once-a-week Learning Annex class was held in their living room.

Word of warning: some of the writers have been here only a few years and know nothing of the real neighborhood. Yup, they may not use the word, but ... they ... are... full ... of ... CRAP!!!
