This weekend, we celebrate Memorial Day. It's not supposed to be a day for sales and BBQs, but rather a day to Remember Our Fallen.The Queens Tribune provides a list of Memorial Day Parades and Queensites killed in Iraq, and also a feature about Letters From A GI Who Never Returned from WWII.
Let's also remember that there is a neighbor of ours who currently is missing in action.

It pisses me off when all people think about on Memorial Day is getting a bargain or having a cookout.
8 more of our fellow Americans died in Iraq today. May they rest in peace.
