The Crapper has long wondered about these 2 interesting looking twin houses on the northeast corner of Laurel Hill Boulevard and 48th Street. They are much larger and more interesting than the attached rowhouses to their right.
Could they have been part of a farm or dairy, as was customary in this area for many years? As evidenced by the looming billboard, an elevated highway sits just south of these parcels, and Calvary Cemetery lies a block to the east.
Both homes along with a ribbon-sized lot are currently for sale - but to "developers only." Perhaps the award that Koren is holding is for actively participating in the destruction of this neighborhood.
100' x 100' and right next to the BQE. Now that has a lot of Queens Crap potential. What developer could ask for anything more?
Here's what's directly across the street. This is likely a harbinger of the green houses' future.In the meantime, both houses have been hit with multiple complaints for illegal conversion and failure to maintain. The current owner is "strip mining" the properties, as is happening in so many parts of Queens these days, getting the most bang for his buck and then moving on.

I beleive it is still an illegal practive to steer individuals, even builders, to certain properties. Andy Cuomo should be looking into this.
The only reason I can see for this type of marketing is that the interior of the properties can not be shown. The conditions inside the houses must be disgraceful.
The ads appear discriminatory against individual buyers. We should take Ms. Dafni to court. I'd complain to the local Council Member, but they're bought by the developers too.

I've already filed 2 formal complaints with the NY Dep't of State (Sec'y of State's office) against Re Max.
I was told by an agent of the Secretary of State that this outfit is one of the worst with tons of complaints filed against them.
