From the Daily News:
The family of Rafael Ramos, one of the cops killed during an ambush in Brooklyn, said they were disappointed Mayor de Blasio didn’t visit to express his condolences Sunday.
“It would be nice for him to come here and say something to us that can lift our spirits and give us hope for the future,” said Ronnie Gonzalez, 54, a cousin.
Gov. Cuomo visited the Ramos family at their Cypress Hills, Brooklyn, home.

The mayor is weeded out with Booz. His ambition to be come the next president of US is gone with the wind with no SS will to do his security.
Did Al Sharpton pay a visit?
When will the mayor's medical record become public? He is a diagnosed manic depressive just like his suicidal father was and his daughter. This condition is bad news for anyone in a leadership position. Tha results speak for themselves.
jesus christ blaz
as I can tell from this family, they are not influenced by the vitriol of pat lynch and a visit from the mayor could have given them some solace.
but like the others he is scared of confrontation.of the sorrow these 2 families are going through and the blind outrage of the pba(maybe he thinks he will be followed by them).
I don't think a visit from al is going to help despite the fact that he won't do it.
He's running on DiBlasio time.
I wonder what meds he takes for his manic depressive condition.
The governor sucks it up and appears at the Brooklyn home of murdered officer Ramos while the boy mayor cowers in fear and desperation behind his big new fence at Gracie Mansion in Manhattan.
Recall this cowardly bum.
The high fence was installed to hide recently installed missile launchers. Who's kidding who?
wait, wait, wait: wasn't the PBA saying he should stay away?
De Blas was so upset upset he actually spent a Sunday morning in church. What a scream to see him and the Mrs in the front row at St Pat's. Loved when the Cardinal told him on the way out that this was the first time he ever stayed for the whole Mass.
I don't think Pat Lynch's petition grandstand but was appropriate, but deBlasio's omission here was far worse, and a grossly missed chance to prove himself the greater leader.
This mayor just flat out does NOT understand the job.
He will go down as one of the worst mayors of NYC, joining Dinkins, Beame, and Lindsay.
"...wasn't the PBA saying he should stay away?
He never listened to the PBA before, why would he listen to them now?
Pat Lynch is the union leader. He speaks for the PBA with one voice and that is the way the union feels at this time.
The NYPD has little to no support
Pat Lynch was 100 percent right,Di Blasio set this execution up to please his base, there will be more,
The cheering reminded me of 9/11 only difference is its Americans cheering the deaths of these officers, when it is your family member murdered by the hands up crowed remember who cheered and dial 311, not 911, I'm sure Blas will personally take your call.
Blasio sucks!
It is the duty of the people to pound the electeds phones till DeBlasio and Viverito are shunned and alienated to the point of resigning !!
Put on the pressure and be a real pain in the ass !!
F_KING DIRTY AMERICA HATING TYRANTS GOTTA GO !!

"He will go down as one of the worst mayors of NYC, joining Dinkins, Beame, and Lindsay".
No-as bad as those 3 Stooges were this guy has them all beat.
As an NYPD wife, if I were the wife of Ramos or Liu and DeBlasio had shown up at my house, he would have regretted it.
Mayor Di Blah Blah would rather be siding with Al Sharpton. Maybe he should appoint him an official deputy mayor instead of disrespecting the NYPD on numerous occasions. Glad to see a group turned their backs on him. He has turned his back on us New Yorkers.
Notice Sharpton's PR slick tactics in getting the Garner family to visit the assassination site. His PR machine in overdrive. Just how does he do it? And what's his financial "cut" in always being the family rep and spokesman? He does this rep-ing for free? He has the family sign a contract with him? If so, what's his percentage when a municipality eventually settles?
Not going to happen, Ned. They're not going anyplace on their own, and there's no recall provision in the City Charter. They can be removed from office if they do something that's illegal, but cluelessness, tonelessness, lacking a sense of common decency and general stupidity aren't crimes (not yet, anyway).
Besides which, do you want three years of Mayor Tish James and Council Speaker Jimmy Van Bramer? That's what you'd get.

De blasio is worse than dinkins? Will NYPD protest him the way they protested dinkins and shut down the brooklyn bridge?
The Mayor visited with the families of the slain police officers on Monday. All New Yorkers are deeply saddened and saying prayers for the families of these brave men.
He's an amateur. You can't lead a city when you only adhere to your 'agenda' and take advice from people who are clueless. I'm will to say the turnout for the next election will be significantly higher than the last.
One-term Mayor. He's toast already.
All New Yorkers are sad is pure liberal propaganda, ask those CHEERING how sad they are.
Oh that's right, he's not a "morning person".
