I still can't figure out how having a big chunk of metal on wheels should grant the owner extra privileges and rights that ordinary Americans don't have.
Nowhere in the constitution does it say that Americans should have the right to pollute the air, the right to store your property for free on public land, the right to drive through every neighborhood and expect the local steeple to jump out of your way, the right to have roads, bridges and expressways built through neighborhoods just so you can drive around and terrorize the locals.
That's my opinion.
