Good , I hope the co- op wins millions. Those bikes are are diblasios and bloombergs way of phasing out car usage. Vision zero is Zero vision. You wanna eliminate or lower car use?, fet you transit system in better order and safer! Those concrete barriers for the bike lanes are a monstrosity and cause all kinds of accidents and make parked cars park 10 feet feom the curb. How rediculous. And all for ten people a day in some places. Talk about baving your bead up your ass , thre Mayors in a row are dumnasses. They do everything as a blanket and not take in certain circumstances. What works in Manhatten doesnt necessarily fly in Queens. Etc , etc.
TA cycling zealots want us to turn the city upside down to fulfill their pipe dreams The Bike cult enjoys a whopping disproportionate flex as a lobby group with our tax money. Apparently bike lanes, high taxes, high crime, and high homelessness are attractive to some. Prove Me Right...
Citibike is a private corperation, it has no buisness on a public sidewalk. 2- Many of these bike racks are being placed in front of commercial propertys. These buisnesses pay huge tax for their commercal property and are not being compensated for shairing their storefronts and dealing with all the bullshit people, garbage citibikes bring. Most people that use these bikes have no money, they bring in no buisness for the people paying the price for it and actually take away buisness, this because paying customers cant park, get fedup and will shop someplace else instead.
It seems Citibikers love McDonalds, Bars, Liqure stores, and assorted cheap fast food and any establishment that takes EBT cards, its should dumped in front of THOSE PROPERTYS !! Why are no bike racks in front of department of human services? (AKA the welfare office) where citibikes biggest fans are?
Bikes belong in places like Amsterdam where eveythings flat and spread out, it cant work in dense American neighborhoods and citys where traffic corner intersections are every 300 or so feet.

Bullshit, you don't know how it works because you cant afford a car & insurance or cant get a drivers license. How about over three DWIs and a chronic case of shit for brains perhaps? Fact is parking on a public street is included in my DMV registration fee, the car needs to keeps its insurance as well. I earned my NY State drivers license privilege to drive, worked hard to pay for it all. I have 2 cars and a nice 1990 Blazer ST truck that are garaged in a private boat yard and still pay near $3000 a year on insurance and NY state fees with a clean record. These bike nazis need to pay their share and carry insurance to operate any transportation equipment that can hurt somebody on a public street. This includes penalty, points and surcharges if your a danger who operates like an asshole
All these uninsured unregistered bike and e-nuts getting killed, causing accidents have caused my annual auto insurance to go up over $300 I good 90% of these bike people are socialist's want "one for all all for one" "everybody equal" right? Then pay your friggan share and quit bitching, its not my fault you wanna sit home, smoke weed, finger paint, social media, tweets, what you call music these days and every other stupid shit nobody will pay you one cent for in the year 2023. Only very few can make a living that way and you need to deliver all 3:- talent, goods and performance. Then cry how your broke ass can only afford a bicycle.
I have no problem with some person biking or e-nutting into Manhattan or such to go to work, put food on the table and pay their bills. Also to avoid using the MTA. Like many, I have my reasons for avoiding MTA, all the cameras and protected inner city young bucks of assorted color looking for trouble is one of those reasons, ending up in jail for defending girlfriend or myself incurring handcuffs with perhaps 10,000-$100,000 in lawyers fees is another. Therefor I do not hate all bike people, many with assets or life to loose must avoid the MTA to get to work.
Free car storage has no business on a public street.
Who told you that Crock? Free car storage has no business on a public street. All private registered cars get that privilege by paying state registration fees, The maximum weight of the vehicle determines the fee. Overnight parking included, until metered hours take effect (where applicable)
Commercial vehicles’ on the other hand do not get a limited privilege to work, as well as a double parking. RVs have zero privilege. Absolute no overnight parking for both. All cars, trucks, and RVs on the street require mandatory insurence. This includeds motorcycles with 2 or more gears which should be updated to all these high powered e-cycles, mopeds etc. --Learn something !!
I live in that area. Parking is a nightmare and it will only get worse.By the way redirecting the buses where you got to walk blocks to catch the 18 and 67 is outrageous. What pay for a bike to catch the bus?

Why your neighborhood is full of Queens Crap

Prove Me Right...
Heaven forbid spandex bike nuts should be inconvenienced.
The wheels on the bicycle lobby go round and round...
Anytime the left supports a law that deprives you of your rights, it is described as "common sense" even though it means exactly the opposite.
Wake me up when the ice age gets here.
Wow ! And they get a pass from the fake news media...

How about a summary instead of expecting us to read an entire legal filing?
@Anon re: Summary
It wasn't the entire filing.
Who in their right mind figured bikes and Bike rakes belong on a hilly plateau. Just another woke idea that is ruining this city.
Re: “ Citibike is a private corperation, it has no buisness on a public sidewalk. ”
Very true. They should be on the street. Free car storage has no business on a public street.

The biggest fans of Citibikes are trustfund hipsters, hardly the type to need welfare, or a car.
