From Sanctuary City to Emergency City

AMNY

Mayor Eric Adams declared a city State of Emergency Friday over the more than 17,000 migrants who have come to the Big Apple seeking shelter since April, calling on Washington and Albany to provide the city with additional resources to handle the influx.

During a live streamed speech at City Hall Friday morning, Adams said the city has been doing all it possibly can to handle the thousands of asylum seekers who are getting bussed here by southern states like Texas after coming from South and Central America across the southern border. This includes stretching the shelter system to nearly 100 percent capacity, opening 42 emergency hotel shelters and building a tent-like shelter on Randall’s Island – first cited for Orchard Beach in the Bronx – he’s dubbed a Humanitarian Relief and Response Center (HERRC).

The emergency declaration, the mayor said, is coupled with an executive order intended to expedite construction of the HERRC.

“New York City is doing all we can, but we are reaching the outer limit of our ability to help,” Adams said. “Today I’m declaring a state of emergency in the city of New York and issuing an executive order. This executive order will direct all agencies to coordinate their efforts to construct the humanitarian relief centers. We are also suspending certain land use requirements to expedite this process.”

Without mentioning them by name, Hizzoner blasted southern elected officials like Texas Governor Greg Abbott for bussing thousands of asylum seekers to the five boroughs every day without coordinating with his administration or so much as a heads up of when and how many buses will be arriving. Adams repeated what has become a common refrain that Abbott and others are exploiting the city’s “right to shelter” law – that requires it to house anyone seeking shelter – for “political gain.”

“Our right to shelter laws, our social services, and our values are being exploited by others for political gain,” he said. “New Yorkers are angry. I am angry too. We have not asked for this. There was never any agreement to take on the job of supporting thousands of asylum seekers. This responsibility was simply handed to us without warning as buses began showing up. There’s no playbook for this, no precedent.”

And the responsibility of accepting 17,000 asylum seekers and counting comes with a hefty price tag. The mayor said his administration expects to spend at least $1 billion on handling this crisis alone by the end of the current fiscal year next June.

Here in the great state of Florida, many of us are thinking of seeking asylum in New York as a result of severe weather and excessive heat from book burnings and George Soros's hurricane machine.

Yeah and hizzoner didn't say shit about the fuckers who declared NYC a "Sanctuary City" or the democrat mayor of El Paso who's responsible for more than half of the 17,000 illegals we've received so far did he?

He could simply pick up the phone and tell Biden to stop the influx. And then go public with the president’s response.

Seventeen thousand, come on guy! Even if; what's 17,000 into a population of Eight and a half million. At least they'll work and pay taxes. Look at the bright side New Yorker's.

The US Department of Homeland Security reports that the Mexican cartels’ income from smuggling illegal migrants into America has soared from $500 million in 2018 to $13 billion this year — up 2,500%.

Thanks, Joe!

Border Patrol agents apprehended 951,568 illegal immigrants during President Donald Trump’s final 19 months in office. In President Biden’s first 19 months, Border Patrol encountered a staggering 3,588,877 illegals — up a sickening 377%.

Thanks, Joe!

In Fiscal Year 2020, the last fully under Trump’s control, 69,000 illegal migrants were detected on the “border” but got away into America’s interior. FY 2021 (four months of Trump, eight of Biden) witnessed 389,155 gotaways — up 464%. In FY 2022 (all Biden’s watch), gotaways hit 599,000 — up 54% versus FY 2021 and 768% compared to FY 2020.

Thanks, Joe!

He could just send all illegals and their ancestors back to where they came from. That would leave just a few native Americans and empty casinos.
Sad…

Here in the Great State of Florida
We flush out illegals with hurricanes.
Thank you George Soros for helping this great state with your weather machine.
Now can you turn up the thermostat on your sun regulator for a few days?

Fool hasn't a clue how bad what he this is, the monetary cost will be historic.
How are 20,000 let alone the expected 100,000 going to support themselves when 90% of them can not read or write in any language?
What happens when the city goes bankrupt and these people get no more free stuff?
Who's going to control 100,000 desperate robbing and going to people homes demanding goods, food and money. It already started in Staten Island, these illegals are going to restaurants at night before closing time asking to be fed or scraps. They drag their usual 3 to 8 children with them to get sympathy.
100,000 welfare cases for life in this city, this is guaranteed bankruptcy in as little as 6 months. Gotta put bars on all the windows and get protection, just insane, one may as well live in Valenzuela or Cuba because that whole country's shit, criminals and illiterate is coming here. .

""At least they'll work and pay taxes""

Nope: Most the females are pregnant with multiple children and no fathers, they will never work or go to school, get any skills to work (t0o many children). Lets see: They would be in their 40s, 50s by the time they could get basic 12 year grade school educations, let alone any additional schooled skills to use in NYC. (this isnt Iowa where they could work produce/agricultural, meat packing)
2-Most can not read or write and I don't see 50,000 acres of asparagus & lettuce fields in New York City to employ 17.000 let alone 100,000 by January.

Like said most these people cant read or write in any language, they speak these tribal dialects from the hills from which they come. "mountain people"
These are not working class cultured people from citys, many never used a modern toilet or hot water. These hotel owners are getting pissed with them flooding bathrooms (no a toilet bowl is not a trash disposal for food scraps, bags of garbage) crapping in bags or in corners, they don't like the donated American food neither. They want weird crap.
God help the sucker cruise ship owners the mayor is attempting to sweet talk, 500 million $$ cruse ship owners know the deal with feral people.

Yes the word is FERAL, it will take 20 years to educate them and most don't want to learn English or be educated. Average female pregnant or with one child by age 15 live off the government, consume as long as they can then migrate to the next pasture. Then repeat, repeat, repeat for life.

What the city is seeing is nothing compared to whats coming if Bidon don't close that border and this sanctuary city experiment shit is rescinded.
