Amen. Finally a judge with some sanity in NYC!
New York City has always had homeless folks, vagabonds sleeping under Highways, in Parks, on Sidewalks, and in makeshift camps, while everyone looked the other way.
Now we have thousands and thousands of freeloaders pouring in from foreign countries, who must be quickly accommodated by law, and provided with free shelter, and free medical, (of course, we would never deny them food.)
Meanwhile, countless New Yorkers must continue working in not one job, but two jobs in order to support their families. This includes hard-working New Yorkers and New York City Civil Servants who get paid paltry salaries.
Our streets are riddled with potholes, Rats are nesting under people's car engines gnawing wires and damaging cars all over New York City, and criminals are more emboldened than ever.
I have no faith whatsoever that Governor Hochul will decrease crime in New York.
All of a sudden, during Election Time, Gov Hochul just came up with an idea that would put cameras in subway cars by 2025!!! Use that money to hire more Police Officers and pay Civil Servants what they deserve.
Gov. Hochul and her cronies are currently implementing draconian laws that would severely restrict law-abiding New Yorkers from being able to legally carry a firearm for your and your family's protection. We need a Governor like Gov. DeSantis in Florida who implemented a very effective "Stand your ground" law for citizens to legally carry concealed firearms to protect themselves.
