I've got a better idea: Drop the boy mayors post-lesbo wife's Thrive NYC program that is costing the city over $800,000,000 per annum. Thrive is a progressive boondoggle that does nothing. The $800 Million saved there would cover the $600 million that the new health program would supposedly save and give the city government an extra $200+ million to play with.

The NYC government is working to implement neo-feudalism. You cannot implement neo-feudalism without bankrupting retirees and their families.

Too bad. So sad. Government workers do NOT make less than the private sector. That is a 20th century myth. Fact is, teachers make multiples of private sector workers. As do cops, firefighters etc.... All while PRODUCING nothing.

Truth! Teachers, especially, have been riding this phony sob-story hard for decades. And they get three months a year of vacation! And in what private sector job could you have a decades-long record of near COMPLETE AND TOTAL FAILURE to accomplish what you're paid to do, yet still get a pay raise every year, while whining non-stop about how little you're paid for such "important" work. (Question for teachers: is turning out generation after generation of semi-literate idiots really "important"? Important how?)
