From QNS:
According to the newly released results for the borough president race, incumbent Donovan Richards currently holds the top spot with 51.1 percent of the vote (78.752 votes) after three rounds of RCV counting. Challenger Elizabeth Crowley, the former District 30 councilwoman, sits in second place with 48.9 percent of the vote (75,349 votes).
So it looks like Liz and Don almost evenly split Jim's #2 votes!
Here are the current council leaders for the Dems.
District 19: Tony Avella
District 20: Sandra Ung
District 21: Francisco Moya
District 22: Tiffany Caban
District 23: Linda Lee
District 24: James Gennaro
District 25: Shekar Krishnan
District 26: Julie Won
District 27: Nantasha Williams
District 28: Adrienne Adams
District 29: Lynn Schulman
District 30: Robert Holden
District 31: Selvena Brooks-Powers
District 32: Felicia Singh
Results are not yet official until thousands of absentee ballots have been counted which is expected to be completed and released by July 12.

If Tony Avella's lead holds up, that's pretty impressive considering how well funded Austin Shafran was: I got mailers supporting Shafran from the hotel and other unions at least 3 times a week for what seemed like months, showing him smiling with his family or with senior citizens, and Shafran supporters were knocking on my door for weeks. And I would say that Richard Lee seemed to be the second-best funded, judging by the amount of mail I received supporting him. All Avella had was "name recognition" from his previous time as Councilman and State Senator, which sometimes is a double-edged sword. I received much less mail from Tony than from the Shafran and Lee.

Honest question.
If the absentee ballots haven’t been counted yet for the City Council races. How have they moved onto Round 5 with the Rank Voting?
Wouldnt all the first pick absentee ballots need to be read before even thinking of moving onto the rounds?
Asked how it felt about about trailing Linda Lee, Steve Behar said, "#@*&^$!"
You Dumbass whites...you don't realise that you are living in post apartheid south Africa...get ready force carjackings
Wouldnt all the first pick absentee ballots need to be read before even thinking of moving onto the rounds?
It does seem like they did it a$$ backwards, which is Standard Operating Procedure for the Department of Elections.
Hell yeah Steve Behar is pissed...all of these mommies are winning!
The results are in: More of the same old shit.
I voted for the white girl.
Keep the vulture circling Camala away while I enjoy my icecream
