AOC did not show up (again) at the Catholic War Veterans annual Memorial Day tribute in downtown Woodside. A much larger populated event. The Strippoli Square event is not publicized. It's like Gianaris (seen next to her) sneaked her in for a quicky photo op and then she's outta there.

This is the only time you see candidates pretend they care about what is bothering you, what is on your mind, and what they can do to make things better.
But once they are elected, no matter what party - you will hardly see them again speaking to the people they serve.
You will most likely see them in front of a camera, a press conference and ignore, deflect, and say they are doing a good job when confronted why they don't address and fix the problems they were elected into office to do.
I wish the citizens would confront these so called "caring politicians" and city council members publicly and tell them what a horrible job they are doing, how their policies have hurt this city, and STOP putting violent convicted felons, sex predators, violent mentally ill people, drug addicts and drug dealers back on the streets.
The public, the tax-paying citizens, and the law-abiding citizens need to stand up and confront them for their failures and get them out of office.
Cuomo, DeBlasio, Carl Heastie, Eric Adams, Jumanne Williams, Chuck Shumer, Scott Stringer, Elizabeth Crowley, need to leave and never be elected into office again!!!
