Columbus Day should have been rebranded. Italians were once discriminated against and now that they have more money and power than they did a century ago, they're the ones who are racists. Look at the killings of Yusuf Hawkins, Willie Turks and Michael Griffith or the Italians who beat up "moolies" who walk on the wrong side of the street. Or how they run away from a neighborhood when blacks move in. Most of the Italians are the ones supporting police when they brutalize and kill black people. They forgot where they came from and Columbus isn't someone who makes Italians look good either. Only helps further the fact that Italian-Americans are by and large racists.
People self-segregate and like to stick with their own kind. Whites don't like when blacks move in, blacks don't like when whites move in. So what? And if you hate cops so much, don't call them, call a social worker.
So you see, way back then, uh, Sicilians were like, uh, wops from Northern Italy. Ah, they all had blonde hair and blue eyes, but, uh, well, then the Moors moved in there, and uh, well, they changed the whole country.

Sorry to burst your bubble but half of my family is Italian and by far NOT racists! You are probably one of those same idiots who don't think any other race could be racist either. I've met MANY black and Asian people who were racists. Even Hispanics can be "racists". Why do we still have streets named after Malcolm X then and idolize Martin Luther King jr even? One was a HUGE racist and the other was a HUGE womanizer who even laughed when a woman was being raped and who believed all MEN (not including women) should be made equal. Sorry, you can't fight racism with racism. And can we please point out the fact that African countries rip off their OWN fellow black people and still treat their own people very unfairly. The billions of dollars that were donated to Africa all these years, never made it down to the poor people who live there, it all stayed at the top. So maybe think about this before speaking about America being "unjust and unfair" to people of color. We now have black billionaires and the cries are still coming. There will always be complaints and nobody will ever be happy. No matter who you are in America, no matter what color or gender you are or no matter what your sexual preferences are, as long as you work HARD in America, then you should be able to have money and wealth. And I've known many black and Hispanics and asians who didn't blame other people and who worked hard and are now well off in life. But you should NOT be holding a person who lived 500 plus years ago accountable to today's standards. Everyone owned slaves back then and in many countries, the practice is still continuing. Even the Irish were once enslaved MANY years ago. And even when the Italian and Irish people came to nyc, they were discriminated against and hated each other even. So sorry to burst your "woke" bubbles, You can't change or rewrite history and you can't erase history just because "you don't like it". Instead, we should be learning from the history so we DON'T repeat it. Why not protest for other things now like fairer wages and stop discrimination in the housing market and stop black on black crime? or you can even protest online for the poor people who live in Africa who NEVER get the money they deserve because their corrupt officials don't pass it down, NOT EVEN their militaries get funded properly over there. So why don't you protest for these things instead of crying that all "white people" are racists? Start helping your fellow men and women and stop pointing fingers at hard working people.
Absurd leftism and mindless Social justice have canceled the Columbus Day holiday in NYC. Thank you Marxist debozio, the Commie UFT and the 'Woke"parents of today !

Why your neighborhood is full of Queens Crap
"The difference between dishonest and honest graft: for dishonest graft one worked solely for one's own interests, while for honest graft one pursued the interests of one's party, one's state, and one's personal interests all together." - George Washington Plunkitt
