The Big Apple is set to hit more grim milestones, with the number of shootings and gun victims so far this year set to match figures for same period the past two years — combined.
There have been 821 shootings and 1,000 gun victims as of Saturday.
Last year for same time frame, there were 466 shootings and 551 victims, while in 2018, there were 449 incidents and 548 victims.
That means combined, there were 905 shooting incidents and 1,099 victims for time period in 2018 and 2019 — close to the totals for this year alone, according to statistics released by the NYPD on Sunday.

Ammo is nowhere as easy as they how they now make the guns with a 3D printing process learned in the tech classes in jail.
Get the parts files, 3D print and sand cast in any crap low melt metal with a MAP gas torch and pot.
Makes no difference what metal you use, the guns are intended to be used once then disposed.

Wrong. If you watch the protests, yes, security cameras caught blacks looting, but there were whites out of state looting.
NYPD had sick leave of 10% during the height of the pandemic white paramedics, etc all went to work. Even, Latinos that deliver food still work but can you explain why the sick leave was at 10%?
They were uncuffed. Didn’t you see undercover cops beating the daylights out of protestors on tv?
Cops compared to last year are not making the arrests. Their own stats show a 60% plus drop in arrests. DeBlasio blamed the courts and the courts fought back and called out Blasio’s lie.
I’m pro police but if for political selfish reasons they’re not doing their job, they need to be called out for slacking off.
