And people thought the aluminum siding our borough is supposedly notorious for being ugly for was bad (my own nearly 100 y.o. house has it, it's "normal" looking to me).
Passed by today. Sort of looks like the out of character stuff they’re slapping up in bklyn or lic but worse. In keeping with the overall look of crap it has a detached garage with a clear glass or acrylic roll up door. What could that be about? What is this place?
I don't really like the house, but at least it looks distinct and different, and not another Fedders special. The side facing the other block is extra ugly, almost no windows and too much blank space.

Why your neighborhood is full of Queens Crap
"The difference between dishonest and honest graft: for dishonest graft one worked solely for one's own interests, while for honest graft one pursued the interests of one's party, one's state, and one's personal interests all together." - George Washington Plunkitt
The above organizations are recognized by Queens Crap as being beneficial to the city as a whole, by fighting to preserve the history and character of our neighborhoods. The outhouse is less of an eyesore
That's a house? It looks more like an office building
the port-o-potty looks nice
It looks fantastic, perfect for my medical practice.

This stuff never looks like it'll "age" well. I guess if you grow up with it, it seems fine.
Really it's not the material necessarily but that it's
1) unpainted / completely lacing in any exterior decor/facade work
2) has weird, irregular lines that creates asymmetry
3) has weirdly spaced and shaped windows at irregular intervals
Place looks like it should be a commercial office space for a modern contractor or some shit. If that's what they were going for, good job.
Look at all the air vents on the street side. Real "Queens Crap" !

Who approves this shit ? At least the pot-a-potty will be removed, I assume.
