Just when you thought you'd seen everything Flushing has to offer
Not sure who did this (Frank Lloyd Crap?) or why they thought it was a good idea but it's freaking hideous! Here's the view as you enter Flushing from the Northern Blvd Bridge:
Is it some sort of memorial? If you recall the cross of girders that was left standing when firemen, cops and citizens volunteered to clean up ground zero WTC after 9/11 when they and everyone were told by Bush's EPA commissioner Christie Whitman that the air was safe to breathe.
Moved outta dat shit hole in 1978. Who the fuck cares? It only gets worse! Manage or move. Ya gotta know when to hold and know when to fold. That whole block is gonna go soon replaced by towers. Posting won't change that. Money talks and bullshit walks.
It looks 18th/19th century industrial. Based on all the surrounding Asian craters in Flushing maybe its a tribute to Robert Oppenheimer's "Fat Man" nuke. Also perhaps its its a monument to the #7 train ?
How dare you use Frank Lloyd Wright’s name? He was a creep but his architecture was very beautiful. Choose another architect please for your analogies.

Tell us. What does Flushing have to offer?
Yeah I've seen this. It definitely looks like crap..
I'm totally confused. Serious question.... what is it? Construction, storefront...
I don't know. It's been there for more than 10 years as per Google Street Maps.
Maybe they were trying to put the anchor in "anchor tenant"?
It looks like someone was too cheap to pay for more construction work. To me it looks like something holding the buildings together. :(

Is it some kind of communications system??
It has been like that for years. 15 or more years ago there was a restaurant there that put that up.
It was a club called "Code Red" for years.

Zoe could be half right, it looks like a discarded elevated train column
