Someone brought this to my attention. Mr. Crowley sat for a video that not only assails Donald Trump but also the fact that he lived in a semi-suburban community that had big houses and lots of trees. This describes a nice chunk of Crowley's district, so one has to wonder why he doesn't call out his own constituents for being white supremacists as he believes this is what led to Trump becoming an asshole?
Video is here.

The point of the matter is that Donald Trump is classically a New Yorker - probability even more than Crowley as he is more successful and polished. Crowley relies on hillbillies and bumpkins from around the world in his district for anyone with a tincture of common sense could see through his bulling. His obscene perversion of government through a party apparatus right out of the 19th century would have be been thrown out years ago by any other constituents than the 'Fresh Off The Boat'.
Joe Crowley may replace Nancy Pelosi as speaker if the Democrats take back the House of Representatives. Remember, Nancy Pelosi lives in a $5 million mansion but I thought it was only the Republicans who are the rich. Wait, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren live in million dollar houses too? I wonder how much money Joe Crowley will spend on his next house when all the lobbyist money comes in. Also, what will the demographics of that neighborhood be, as it is the Democrats who have no problem living with minorities.
This reminds me of a liberal college professor who was displeased with me for completing an assignment where we were asked to give a speech on a minority group who eventually became the majority. My speech involved the fact that by 2045, Hispanics will replace whites (the speech had no racial slurs) as the majority racial demographic in the United States. The professor shook his head in displeasure throughout and asked after the speech, “where did you get THOSE sources from.” I handed in the bibliography pages with reputable sources and was eventually given an undeserving C+ in the course. Every assignment was also subsequently marked lower to make the grade stick so I couldn’t dispute it later (which I did anyway to no success). Interestingly enough, an older schoolmate who personally knew the professor informed me later that he(the professor) actually lived in Greenwich, Connecticut. I found it amusing that someone whose so politically correct lived in such a racially homogenous area. On the other hand, me (the racially insensitive student), lives in Sunnyside,Queens and would never want to live in a liberal elite coastal town.
Well, folks are going to have their opinions on Trump, but this is about this opportunistic irrelevant asshole Crowley here, who is exploiting that bastard's brazen and blatant incompetence and fascism (incompetent fascism?) so he can get re-elected and continue to enrich himself and his lawyer friends and real estate, stadium bank and private equity donors (just like his elected hack peers in the McResistance)
This jackass knows he has a phenomenal primary opponent that kicked his stammering ass in the very very brief debate on NY1 a few days ago.
come on Crappy post this
https://theintercept.com/2018/06/14/joe-crowley-congress-new-york/
Can we see a picture of Joe's house in Virginia? You know, the one where he is raising his kids.
This jackass knows he has a phenomenal primary opponent that kicked his stammering ass in the very very brief debate on NY1 a few days ago.
ooo!!! can Crappy share the link with us?
It's really about if anyone else believes it. That's how low life pols get elected...STUPID VOTERS!
Anon 2
I sent that too.
6 days till primary day, do the right thing 14th district and waste Crowley, he is baiting and exploiting your fears.
Joe:
Your video missed the welfare offices in your district. Why?
What a magnificent piece of video! Shows just how wretched the Democratic party has become. Not one word about his ideas for making things better for the working man just blah blah Trump sucks. What are your ideas Joe? What's your plan? Just another lying sack of shit trying to divert attention over there while he fills his own pockets over here. I was not a big Trump fan, but compared to guys like Crowley, he is starting to look like a star.
We can disagree on a lot, but is this comment saying Donald Trump is more polished?
I mean, he may me "more" polished, but the bar is pretty low then.
>> Anonymous.
>> Donald Trump is classically a New Yorker - probability even more than Crowley as he is more >> successful and polished
Crowley is the quintessential crappy underhanded New York, Democrat, politician. Look what's happening in your communities in Queens. Put this garbage out at the curb next election.
"ooo!!! can Crappy share the link with us?"
Here you go.

The best Boy Joe can come up with was to vaguely tie her somehow to being pro-assault rifle because she allegedly appeared on a Reddit feed about the issue. And his Trumpian gaffe about his meat and butter style of getting things done in office.
Errol Louis is a dick too, as he tried to associate her with carpet bagging by asking her why she isn't running in the 15th district when she lives in the 14th. Which show the clear complicity of networks and the DNC in this case.
Just watched the debate, I don't know whether I should shit or go blind.

she wupt his arse. this man has never faced a real debate in years and you can tell how rusty he is. looks pissed.
"You know, the one where he is raising his kids."
Totally WRONG!
It should be, Y'all know...."
The debate will be posted tomorrow. This was "part 1"
He’s shitting in his diaper.
I thought it was funny when he was ranting about President Trump living in Forest Hills in a stately manor, while he lived in a modest home in Woodside. Wonder what his mansion in Virginia (the one that he raises his kids in) looks like. Bet it's much grander than the house Trump grew up in. Woodside isn't good enough for him to raise his kids there. That's because the once beautiful neighborhood is on a downslide. I'm waiting for him to tell me what he is going to do for his constituents to improve their quality of life. I'm waiting. If he wants my vote, he needs to work for it. He hasn't done that in many years. It's time for some fresh blood. All the politicians get comfortable in their jobs and only care about enriching themselves and maintaining power. Vote him out. Let's try someone one new. They can't be any worse than what we have now. People -- please get out and vote in the primary on Tuesday. If you don't, all his loyal Irish subjects (they vote for him because he's Irish) will be out in full-force and we'll be stuck with him again until the next election. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Please vote on Tuesday and let's try to change things up and make things better. We want to enrich our quality of life -- not his.

Unfortunately most people don't even know what Crowley has done (or not done)for their district but as soon they hear that he "hates" Trump, they are going to vote for him. Very sad story, most of us don't even take 15 minutes to analyze what each candidate stand for and vote blindly.

b : differing from each other or from a standard the divergent interests of capital and labor
2 mathematics : relating to or being an infinite (see 1infinite 4c) sequence that does not have a limit or an infinite series whose partial sums do not have a limit
3 physics : causing rays (see 2ray 1b) to draw apart from a common center : causing divergence of rays a divergent lens
This is typical of some of the Democrats on this site who can't admit their party is no longer the party of JFK:
"....(Crowley) who is exploiting that bastard's brazen and blatant incompetence and fascism (incompetent fascism?)"
The post is about worthless Crowley but somehow this guy thinks Trump is incompetent and fascist? LOL
I guess incompetence is defined as:
-lowering the unemployment rate to the lowest point in decades.
-decimating ISIS
-cutting the tax rates by the greatest amount in decades, this actually helps the middle class...you know, those that actually pay federal taxes.
-decreasing welfare roles across the country
-ending Obamacare debacle. Pay a penalty because you don't want crappy health plans? No thank you!
-putting an end to the idea that our foreign policy and immigration policies are just a great big global welfare system and uncle Sam is really like Willy Wonka.
I could go on about Supreme Court justices, political correct BS culture and the vile major news organizations but I've said enough.
Stick to the topic at hand Democrats and they way they are systematically ruining this great city.
Harry Haller
Now you know what he thinks of his constituents.
His opponent may be a whole lot more liberal than he, and probably has a serious hatred for the sorts of people Crowley was bashing, but she's idealistic and not yet corrupted.
Just watched the debate video.
The debate is basically between two progressives trying to outdo each other in their Leftist agendas.
Crowley has nothing to offer but fear mongering and race-baiting with an acute case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. I hear the World Health Organization is thinking of classifying this new strain of political agita under one of its mental health disorders next year.
That weird grimace on his face after answering questions is characteristic of this type of permanent indigestion that goes with the constant pandering to constituents who he believes are in perpetual need of his attention for their salvation.
Ocasio is basically an educated millennial who has swallowed the whole progressive stupidity hook, line and sinker. She would do well in Venezuela.
She's for tuition-free college, as if there aren't already such things as scholarships, community colleges, city colleges with only the minimal of financing needed, NY state TAP grants, Federal PELL grants, the list goes on.
Of course the idea of working your way through college has never occurred to the Progressives who believe that money just grows on trees and motivation gained through hard work is an abstraction on the way to Utopia.
She states proudly that she's being endorsed by the Democratic Socialists of America...natch. Remember Hugo Chavez's party was the Democratic Socialists, you can't make this crap up.
She states she wants to abolish ICE. I'm sure it's because we have too few people in this nation as it is (320,000,000) and we need to add another hundred million to really give us the experience of living in Mumbai or Shanghai...why not, 250 years of a progressively improving standard of living in this nation is enough. In other words, the United States is bad and needs to atone for its sin of being the greatest nation on the planet. We'll get used to living in squalor and bathing in the East River after a few generations.
This web site could use a sarcasm meter...I'm at 11 right now.

Now This is another clickbait news site designed for social media likes, shares, and retweets. I don't take it seriously. Also, his primary opponent is cute.
Yes, I am indeed 78 years old, and speaking of the 'Party of JFK,' I lived through the nightmare of the days when all corrupt, political dynasties like the Kennedy scourge, usurped ALL of the power, privilege and freedom away from We, the People (again and STILL).
Back then (as is the case right now), the dynasties here in the US let them live well on their trust funds: Every crooked-and-entrenched Kennedy got a $50 million dollar payout from that walking corpse - and now a REAL one! - Uncle Teddy, about 20 years ago, when the Chicago Merchandising Mart in Chicago was sold.
But, like the massive corruption that continues to be lavished on the Crooked Crowley Dynasty, none of those disgraced Kennedys must ever seize ANY and ALL political power again EVER! They are a cabal of decadent morons that redefine the term itself - to new heights of anarchy!
Further, the young people of today must do a little reading of history - and, in particular a lesson about the Kennedy Klan.
Bootlegging Papa Joe owning factories in Germany during the Second World War, as did Prescott Bush. JFK murdering the leaders of S. Vietnam Diem and Nu, and ordering several CIA assassination attempts on Castro in Cuba. Bobby Kennedy as Attorney General arresting hundreds of Italian Americans who owned pizza parlors (or whatever). The Kennedy owned franchises on liquor imports from Canada and Ireland and in the UK. The insatiable greed of this family and their decadent life styles - secured generation after generation (for which everyone else paid the ultimate, irreversible and crushing price).
Rumor has it that Joe Crowley was born in a simple log cabin.
Joe "Abe" Crowley.
Hi Harry.
I stayed on the topic of Crowley. I made it a point on how he is using fearmongering, dividing and conquering and in this video, a hypocritical stab at class upbringings, just like Trump and exploiting the cult of personality that is Trump, to secure his seat for another 2 years and his undeserving prospect to become house minority leader or speaker for selfish reasons.
I can go on about refuting your list of Trump's supposed and all surface no substance accomplishments (with the exception of the ACA) and the oligarch welfare bill(those nasty hoarded wealth socialist tax cuts) and the wretched repeals of laws regarding the environment and finances and financing the rancid Saudi Arabia crusade in Yemen and his obeisant respect towards tyrants in the Phillipines and North Koreas. But if you can't see the fascism that Trump is spewing and spreading, well it just won't affect you until you feel it, as that legendary poem goes that ends:
"and then they came for me and no one was left to speak for me"
I don't disagree about your last comment, Establishment neoliberal democrats are ruining this city for it's become a one party system. But everything is connected and office holding Republicans aren't goddamn saints either, why do you think de Faustio, Mario's son and Spitzer got elected?
Always vote against the incumbent, it takes the newcomer a couple of years to set up their graft.
^
I heartily agree.
The ancient, kleptocratic, empire-rackets are finally crumbling, fellow peasants, as the veil of corruption has finally been completely lifted.
Now, ancient Babylonia may have ended more than 5,000 years ago——but, ironically (and brazenly!), the tired vultures and sewer rats of the two-party-machine-failed duopoly have managed to survive by feeding off of the human misery of every single constituent whom they have monstrously failed to represent——while always personally benefiting from their 'ALL PAY and NO WORK' jobs of purported public service that continually (and openly) DEVALUE honesty itself. Worse, it was always they themselves who created the adversity, beggary, obscurity and quiet desperation in the FIRST F**KING PLACE——all of which has got these shitheads lined up and ready to FIX what they intentionally broke, en masse (not to mention the broken YOUTH, LIVES and LIVELIHOODS and generations of families along in the psychotic and maddening process of never developing a proper class system in more than 200 years of government sanctioned, pseudo, proxy, petrodollar wars, tyranny and outright apocalypse)!
I am sick to death of giving these voracious, predatory and rapaciously parasitic thieves any more of We, the People's precious time, youth and static livelihoods, after the DemonRat machine has so completely betrayed, ravaged and tonsured New York State——to completely ruinous outcome AND obliterating effect. Because of them, New York City is now the official gateway to 'The Fourth World,' and a feckless, UNACCOUNTABLE shithead/dickhead/weasel-fuckwad like Virginia Joe Crowley (why is he LEGALLY allowed to live so far from the district that he has NEVER represented), epitomizes just how much rot and decay over the decades has reinforced every failed reason for why they should never be free again, much less retain their rusted-out seats of epic, humanitarian (and ecological) fail.
He and his ugly, bald, henchmen are a collective waste of skinheads——depleting the Earth of precious oxygen! Go and play your $2, out-of-tune guitar somewhere else, you putrid street busker! BANISH THEM ALL, ALREADY!
Well I grew up in queens and it was very nice growing up. Over the last 40 years, it's only gotten worst. My fathers father is from queens too and my father said that when he visited his aunt here back in the 40s/50s, queens was a nice place. Trump was never a racist. The media makes him out to be a racist. Trump has been in the public eye for 40 years, dont you think someone would have called him out years ago? As I recall, trump was heavy into the sports scene back in the day and would even post bail for some of the professional (black) athletes. The media loves to turn everything into race while making a news story. This whole immigration mess did NOT start with trump. He is trying to fix it and follow the LAWS that were implemented...laws that were made BEFORE trump came into office.
JQ LLC,
...ok, let's play political tit for tat, because as I see it, we're in a binary system of politics right now.
You are either with the Obama/Clinton/Deblasio/Crowley cabal of progressive- socialist- liberal-corrupt-pandering-hate the USA crowd of ineffectual Leftists
or
you are with the Trump administration taking an ax to the Washington DC establishment which has overgrown our capital like an insidious weed (that includes Republican establishment types like John Mccain and Paul Ryan).
Why do you suppose that Trump is loathed by the Democrats, establishment Republicans, Media, Hollywood and Academia?
Answer: because he's bringing down their carefully constructed house of cards built on the idea that this nation is bad, hard work is an affront, our nation is the worlds welfare office and every minority needs to be "saved" somehow... this has been called "the soft bigotry of low expectations".
Here's a clue, minorities don't need saving, they just need to be allowed to succeed like every other group in America without the harmful intervention of Democrat policies of social engineering that start with the assumption that they are less capable. Democrat policies have conveniently removed accountability and self-reliance from the equation in an attempt to keep them in a state of need from the government.
You say:
"I can go on about refuting your list of Trump's supposed and all surface no substance accomplishments"
-Decimating our enemies in the Middle East is of no substance? Trump took office and destroyed ISIS within a matter of months. Their Caliphate in Syria and Iraq was eradicated.
You Say:
"... and the oligarch welfare bill(those nasty hoarded wealth socialist tax cuts)"
I assume you are referring to American trans-national companies who have a right to compete with their global counterparts? Keep in mind that most of Americans rely on the success of those companies like ExxonMobil and Apple in order to fund their retirement. Yes, if you are a retired firefighter or teacher from NYC, your pension fund is highly invested in American blue chip companies so you better hope they continue to do well with tax cuts and the continued pressure to bring their production back home.
You Say:
"...and financing the rancid Saudi Arabia crusade in Yemen"
That's a proxy war with Iran once again. We've been going through this war from Beirut in the 80's to the IED's in Iraq, to Syria and now Yemen. The regime in Iran is our enemy!
Trump knows this, the generals know this and this is why he pulled us out of the worst of Obama's foreign policy blunders. Saudi Arabia cooperates with us so we continue to work with them. Simple.
You say:
"...But if you can't see the fascism that Trump is spewing and spreading, well it just won't affect you until you feel it."
LOL, this is the clearest example that you are simply not thinking straight.
Fascism is defined by dictatorial oppression, control of industry and production with suppression of national will.
If you are following what's happening in Washington closely. The FBI and DOJ are full of "fascists" attempting to undermine the will of the American people.
Just read the report by the Internal Investigator at the FBI which found Comey acted insubordinate and recklessly with the aid of many top level FBI and DOJ bureaucrats(like McCabe and Yates who were either fired or re-positioned in light of their malfeaseance.
That's what actual fascists do, they stifle the will of the people. Remember, it is bureaucrats that give tyrants their initial power by ceding the rule of law in service to their "cause". Trump was elected the leader of this nation to institute the will of the people and that's exactly what he's doing. That's the opposite of Fascism!
Harry Haller
>Ancient Babylonia may have ended more than 5,000 years ago
Wasn't it 2,500 years ago?
Harry, Trump has been saying how he wants people to stand at attention for him and most recently how he proclaimed in front of incredulous attendees at that business function how judges are necessary.
Again you conflate my words, I said if you can see the fascism, and by the way one out three you listed is already occurring, the control of industry and production although not by Trump but by the oligarch owners. Trump has come back from meeting Kim Jong Un, (you remember that guy?) impressed with that man's tyrannical hold on his nation and desires to do the same. Listen to his words, and despite his alleged jocularity, it's probably the only true thing he has ever said.
I agree that there are aspiring fascists at the FBI and CIA, they have a rich history of interference in activism and foreign sovereign states and elections since their inception.
Another thing Harry, and I write this not to dis your support or even your vote for Trump in 2016. But he is not your hero or savior, he's president because of his wanton avarice.
JQ LLC,
I'm always surprised at the lengths folks will go to justify their belief that this nation can so easily turn to dictatorship when the founding fathers put the strongest insurance policy ever devised right into the Bill of Rights.
It's called the Second Amendment and it's the one protecting all the other laws enshrined in our Constitution.
Now, logic would lead us through a simple line of reasoning:
If Trump is the President protecting the Second Amendment from the constant assault of the Left (read Democrats),
it would seem logical to assume that he's the opposite of a budding dictator who would be looking to DISARM the population as history has taught us well (at least those who still care to read about how revolutions occurred in the past) that the first thing to do when consolidating tyrannical power is to confiscate the guns.
As far as "hero" or "savior", I'm not looking for either. Simply looking for the leadership required to uphold Western values and ideas which are worth saving. Trump fits the bill insofar as he's not an apologist for our traditions.
My assessment is that you mistake his well documented bluster and bravado (we've all been reading about Trump's personality in the NY Post for decades, after all)
for a deep seated desire to rule by decree. Don't confuse vanity for the sociopathy required of a dictator, he's reckless with words and thin-skinned but his underlying motivation is clearly not to enslave the American population but to preserve our way of living.
As far as the "control of industry" you're describing, I will give you one clear example of the opposite occurring.
The ACA (Obamacare) placed the entire healthcare industry (13% of our economy) under the direct control and influence of the Federal government, remember even the Supreme Court punted on this by describing the individual mandate penalty as a normal function of taxation and governance. The doctor-patient relationship became the Government-Patient relationship under Obama, complete with a crisp new IRS reporting form for every family.
Trump signed an executive order removing that government mandate to purchase insurance even if you didn't want it. He's systematically returning the Healthcare industry to the free market and to the people as it should always remain.
Harry Haller
Crowley is such an a-hole...I really hope this Spanish chick cleans his clock on Tuesday
Woe unto the voters of Queens and the Bronx that vote for the cretinous oaf Crowley. If he wins, expect more of the same crookery, patronage and mediocrity. We will end up with more people like Vallone, Katz, Grodenchik, Dromm, and Van Bramer. Cast your ballot for this Spanish girl. She's got energy, and she's not on the take....yet
>He's systematically returning the Healthcare industry to the free market and to the people as it should always remain.
Yeah, aren't health insurance companies wonderful? Always keeping premiums low and never denying necessary coverage.
"Yeah, aren't health insurance companies wonderful? Always keeping premiums low and never denying necessary coverage."
Who said it was wonderful?
The solution obviously wasn't Obamacare.
So what would work?
Ans.
-deregulating interstate competition between healthcare companies (like they do with homeowners insurance, car insurance and yes, even pet insurance).
-Tort reform; stop the lawyers from causing ever-rising costs due to defensive medicine.
-Cutting waste fraud and abuse of Medicare and Medicaid. People visit doctors offices like it's a social gathering. Why? because they get free stuff every time they go.
-Health Savings Accounts; let young folks pay into an account tax free, the healthier they are the more their account grows. Most humans are actually healthy between 20-50. If they stay healthy through their 50's they have a huge roll-over health savings account to keep as their own into retirement, outside of traditional IRAs and Pensions.
It's a simple concept that de-incentivizes bad health choices.
Combined with a low cost catastrophic insurance plan (in case they break their leg or fall off a scooter), you have returned health insurance to its original concept....
something you use when you absolutely need it, not for every cold, sniffle and sneeze you get in Winter.
These are all viable, proven solutions that were proposed by Republicans during the Obamacare debate.
They didn't even meet with Republicans however and the rest is history and failure.
Trump wants to re-visit these healthcare recommendations, you however, sound like you would rather wallow in nihilism.
Gotta love the Free Market system.
Harry Haller
ps; stock tip: allocate part of your retirement portfolio into a diversified ETF targeting the healthcare insurer sector. That way you'll benefit from the "evil" insurers every time you pay your healthcare premium.
PSCH-Invesco returned 32.6% YTD. That's how you beat inflation into submission.
….You're Welcome!
