This is outrageous, but this is not how campaigns are won...Graziano needs to get out there and get his issues out front. They are winning issues and the citizens of this district need to know how the Queens Democratic Machine is screwing them royally. Patrick Jordan is just another drug addled lapdog of Joe Crowley looking to move up the ladder. If we re-elect Vallone, he will succeed and this cycle of cheating and fraud will continue. Lets elect Graziano and send a message that the people make the decisions for this district, not the Queens Democratic Machine.
It makes sense that Vallone would condone such irresponsible and illegal behavior. I have called that office many times and besides not understanding regular constituent issues they don't return calls or follow up. It all comes from the top. He has not denied any of the allegations because he knew and approved. Vote for Graziano.
Turn out the vote, Otherwise all this stuff is meaningless and Vallone wins! Investigations take time. The primary is soon! Don't count any chickens before they're in the pot!
All this stuff is too damned academic for most inadequate Queens' brains to digest. Elections are not won in time by examining and presenting such intricate info to the voters. Voters go for name brands UNLESS a good challenger convinces them that he or she is the better buy than the Vallone label. Get it? Neighborhood or historic preservation advocates don't usually win elections on that alone. Schools, public safety, transportation , etc. is far more important to most voters. The challenger has to present STRONG knowledge, interest or experience on these issues.
Vallone has an army of political mobsters as well as MAYBE......real wise guys behind him. The family is well connected in many respects. However, David did whip Goliath's ass good! GET THE FUCK OUT THERE AND VOTE FOR GRAZIANO! Or else, continue to get reamed by La Famiglia Di Vallone!
I only usually visit this site during election cycles and once again I am not disappointed. Amazing the first thing I see is a reprint of Paul Graziano's manifesto citing petition fraud. Maybe it is just me but seems to be pretty bad form to post images of individuals’ signatures.
That said, Graziano mentions a "hand writing" expert in his diatribe. Graziano’s charges are pretty serious so I decided to research this so-called expert, a person named Donald Frangipani who evidently has quite a checkered past when it comes to his signature authentication. A Daily news article from 2008 reads…”Donald Frangipani, the Brooklyn forensic examiner who was the subject of an HBO "Real Sports" investigation. The segment portrayed Frangipani as an authenticator who could be counted on to issue certificates even for crude forgeries.”
I absolutely agree potential signature fraud should be investigated but perhaps Graziano should have chosen an authority that doesn’t taint his claim…trying to prove forgery by relying on a less than reputable source seems to add a tone of desperation.
As many of us are, I was constantly reminded of the upcoming primary via the many mailers I have received. Over the last week or so, I have received three flyers from Graziano. I am generally interested in literature that states a candidate’s accomplishments and experience. The first two flyers were ridiculous and totally useless “family photo” albums. I really have no interest in Graziano’s birthday or vacation pictures. Today I received another one in which Graziano claims he has “been representing constituents of Northeast Queens for over 2 decades without ever being elected to public office.” Well, could be because he lost. Perhaps Graziano should mail flyers not created by a 10 year old.
The person carrying the petitions can write in the date, the voters name and address. All the constituent has to do is sign the petition for it to be valid. These is nothing wrong with these petitions. I may not agree with the candidate, I may not be willing to vote for them, but that doesn't mean I don't want more choice when I go to vote.
If there really was a problem why weren't these signatures challenged by the candidate's lawyers at the Board of Elections? That's the place to do it, not here on a blog.
All you are doing is spitting into the wind. I don't work for this candidate, I barely know anything about them. But get your facts straight before you trash working people.
It says right at the beginning: "Jordan’s fingerprints – or more specifially, his very distinctive hand-writing – are all over the petitions. While it isn’t necessarily illegal for persons other than the witness to fill in much of the petition pages above the Statement of Witness except for the petition signature itself, it is totally illegal to fill out false information; forge other people’s signatures or initials; or otherwise alter or tamper with a petition page."
unfortunately, no one is opposing JVB (Jimmy Van Bramer), one of the worse of the worst (what an ego and a phony)....I am going to write in someone. We are stuck with this basket full of mediocrity...Vallone, Crowley, Van Bramer, etc for another four years. Thank God Viverito is term limited. She and her perma-smirk is going bye-bye...for now anyway
"… vote for GRAZIANO!"...well, no, that probably won't be the case. Most unions and organizations have endorsed Vallone.
Good thing that the 19th Council District has very few union members then, not to mention that so much of rank and file in certain unions (United Federation of Teachers, for example) don't listen to the knee-jerk endorsements that their leadership makes anymore.

As usual, the Vallone trolls don't tell the whole story.
While he lost the suit in 2010, that was only for damages under State and Federal law. If Frangipani were guilty of conspiring with gangsters, don't you think he would have been indicted and thrown in jail by now?
Not to mention, would he still be hired to present his findings in court??

On September 12 you will all come out and vote for GRAZIANO!
Crappy are in the wrong here.

So what about this is unclear?

all of JVB's signatures are probably false and have illegals written all over them --
