Kosciuszko, meet Pulaski
I've seen plenty of photos of the old Kosciuszko passing under the new one and it sailing below the Brooklyn Bridge but George the Atheist had a pretty interesting perspective from the raised Pulaski Bridge and other vantage points. And the old photo at the top of his post looks 50 years old but it was only taken 4 years ago.

Your historical juxtaposition Crapper of 2 Polish patriots who contributed mightily to American independence: Kosciuszko and Pulaski nicely done. Thanks.
(More bridge removal imagery with my circa 4 min. video here.
I can just see you racing from one spot to another. "Sorry for speeding officer, but I'm chasing a bridge down a creek."
Sure got my exercise that day.
What happened to the plan to 'blow it up'?
I was looking forward to that circus!
BTW folks, check out Mitch Waxman's (of Newtown Pentacle fame) masterful time-lapse video of the truss lowering here. Play it also with one of YouTube's slo-mo features - e.g. setting 0.25 speed.
Despicable what they did to our beloved bridge.
Now out my window I'm looking at a big clothes line pole. The LED illumination at night sucks too, its weak pastel colors. This projection method with LED floodlights is a very cheap antiquated design.
GTA - Great work.
