BDB's legal defense fund is handcuffed

From the NY Post:

The city’s Conflicts of Interest Board dealt a costly blow to Mayor de Blasio on Wednesday by ruling that his plan to raise big bucks through a legal-defense fund to cover bills growing out of investigations of his administration is against the law.

“The board has concluded that contributions to legal-defense funds are no different from gifts directly to the public servant,” wrote Chair Richard Briffault.

That means donations to a legal-defense fund are limited to a maximum $50 per person — except for family members, who can contribute as much as they want — making it unlikely the mayor could raise the hundreds of thousands of dollars he is expected to owe.

Hizzoner had earlier announced that he would seek donations from supporters to pay for hefty legal bills resulting from separate state and federal probes into his fund-raising practices.

The mayor is a shithead. He should be content that he escaped indictment.

Kramer Levin should find a creative way to pay off his debt, but with all the corporate welfare favors De Faustio doled to their developer clients he probably did enough for them for the next decade or two.

Except if his name was Clinton.

Now, am I the only one here who is terminally sick to death of this subhuman's congenital, pathological lies, deniability, cover-ups, kickbacks, payoffs, cronyism, nepotism——and, overall, extreme government misconduct that is unconscionable?

This mentally ill troglodyte clearly suffers from 'cognitive dissonance' (among other, more serious afflictions that are incurative), and it's finally time to impeach de Faustio's recalcitrant, derelict ass before he can inflict even more human misery upon his ever languishing, taxation-without-representation constituents like me.

In the end, it doesn't really matter anymore what new heights in sadism that this embarrassment to primates continues to ascend to, when he now DEVALUES all honesty itself——to pathologically high treasonous, traitorous and tyrannical effect!

IMPEACH THIS PUBLIC LEACH WHO LOVES TO BREACH (and abrogate, confabulate, dissemble——and, 'Delay, Deny——And, Hope That You Die)!

Careful talking bad about the mayor.

A "friend" says a bill from 2 Queens politicians is circulating Albany to make it a crime to criticize politicians on the Internet. A like bill is also now making the rounds in California.

The text of the bill also implicates anyone who writes, publishes or even shares news stories that could have errors, comments or stories that could later have an impact on an election.

It is unlawful for a person to knowingly and willingly make, publish or circulate on an Internet Web site, or cause to be made, published, or circulated in any writing posted on an Internet Web site, designed to influence the vote on either of the following:

(a) Any issue submitted to voters at an election.

(b) Any candidate for election to public office.

To last Anonymous: Your statement that speaks of a 'friend's' is hearsay, and there will never be a bill passed that would make it a crime to criticize any and all politicians, and we already have libel and slander laws to protect anyone, politicians included, from maligning and impugning anyone's reputation.

But, the real irony here is how it's unlawful for any politician to ignore his/her constituency, and the oath of office that these public servants swore to uphold is abrogated with every languishing constituent who requests help from their representatives, and is faced with rejection instead of hands-on help, not to mention excuse-a-thons, delay-a-thons and an overall dereliction of public duty!

So, here's a novel idea: Hold all failed, derelict and dishonest political leadership accountable by enforcing the laws that are already written to protect We, the People, and the problem of distrust will be resolved when honest, ethical leadership (that leads by example) prevails! Even a kindergartner understands reciprocity!

Its not hearsay its fact, and don't say it cant happen this is New York remember ?
It was called New York Assembly Bill 5323 by David Weprin and now its back and called Bill 4561 being pushed by senator Tony Avella. The 2nd version of the bill aims for censorship with a “broad, vague" angle of bite strictly based on what the government thinks the public should or shouldn’t be discussing.
Europe, N Korea and some other countries have for years been successfully enforcing this exact same law. --Likely where these two Eisenstein's copied from and most politicians & judges love the idea

Its not a joke See:

Put them in jail...ha-ha more like come for that spare room or basement in your home and throw YOU in jail (or huge fines, tax break penalty's or impose huge property tax surcharges) if you choose to discriminate against what your offered !!
Big trouble is coming, they have like program's in Russia where the government pays and gives huge breaks, free stuff and zoning variances to people who agree to take in criminals !!
