George the Atheist has a photo collection of the latest effort to fancy up the grounds of the Steinway Mansion. Which is great but When are they gonna start on fixing up the building and what will it be?

Looks like the mansion will be used for exclusive events. I foresee galas featuring all the players from REBNY and our marionette electeds hobnobbing on artisanal foodstuffs (maybe from curated coyote meat) and craft brews and wines catered by developer, hedge fund and venture capital invested pop-up restaurants.
You know, that mansion is very captivating. Even with all the land raping around it. That should be like the Cali Hollywood sign of Queens. Something everyone can admire from afar.
And borough president Katz claims to care about Queens' history. BAH...HUMBUG! She only cares about her political advancement and the contributions, to that end, from her developer pals. Isn't that's what the office of borough president is about here in Queens...greasing overdevelopment?

Thanks, Jerry, but endlessly repeating the obvious doesn't do a hell of a lot, does it?
Most of use, at this point, are thinking of the next step.
They are going to widen the road and destroy the 1850 Steinway stable as well as the west mansion annex. Then the mansion will be cut off from the street.
But Astoria IS getting Citbikes that the kids are all excited about as well as a 30 million 'entertainment' center with a diving platform stage center at the pool so the really important things in their world are doing just fine.
Wow atleast the mansion is being taken care of. Though the property got smaller, the mansion and the surrounding property looks better than it has anytime in the last 30 years. Idk if people remember but the slopes of the mansion 3 years ago were landfills.

Why your neighborhood is full of Queens Crap
