The last part of the letter is confusing. Why does it state " Do not resist" ...?
Bogus. It is not even attached to that pole.
However, the sentiment is correct...but there is one big problem; your neighbors want to sell at the highest possible price after working for decades to pay that mortgage.
If one only really cares about "making a killing" they'll often price a property too high for the prevailing market. Thus the likely buyer is a crud who'll want to 'redevelop" it into higher density to make a profit.
The only solution to this is zoning that is rigorously enforced...and that will often pit you against your neighbors.
I totally agree with people who oppose this sort of over development, but be prepared for a fight.

The downfall of Queens started 25 years ago. It will be at the city line within 5 years. ITS OVER JOHNNY, ITS OVER!
